hotel very modern and clean - large comfortable room and felt safe. Staff very, very helpful - what was needed was in room. Shower and everything worked fine which was not always the case in other hotels I stayed during my trip. Excellent communication prior to visit - always prompt with lots of info. It is very close if you want the main train station. It is a busy and noisy area which as a city dweller was OK for me and I got used to quite quickly although the traffic is more of a culture shock. Room was completely quiet and insulated from everything outside. Hotel will organize transport for you and can arrange tours. I was staying a couple of days before a group tour and already knew what I wanted to see in Delhi and had booked another food tour - (would recommend a food tour around old Delhi - you will try things and find places you would not try yourself as a stranger and they will all be safe water wise etc). I found Delhi safe to get around as lone older female and used metro, legs and occasional tuk tuk if could not face crossing roads again for a return journey to metro station. Walking back at night was also fine. I did have to use Google maps to remember which lanes to walk up to the hotel though. There are plenty of local places to eat immediately around - lot of street food - there are also restaurants up around Connaught and Janpath. Many places I visited, especially old delhi and in local area I was the only lone female in very male area - but again got used to this quickly - if you stop though or look uncertain people will be persistent in offering you transport or very weirdly always wanting to direct you to great shopping - I had come to see the sights of Delhi not go shopping so this felt strange. In the gardens and some landmarks - Indian families often stopped me to ask for a photo with them - easily got used to often being the only western tourist.
The breakfast only starts at 8am. I could book a room service smaller breakfast for 7 which I did by phone as instructed the night before and again 5 minutes after it failed to arrive but it never arrived despite person on phone saying all OK - I had to go down to reception and ask them to book it and only had toast and juice as that was all I had time to eat before leaving at 7.30. So I never tried the super buffet breakfasts others had. I also found that you needed to ask for the complimentary water or dishes to be cleared rather than it just happen but I think that is maybe normal for Indian hotels who tend not to enter your room unless requested which is different to booking at home. Other hotels just left the water and toilet roll outside the door. Personally I did not find it was just a minute away from Connaught or metro (maybe if you use tuk tuk it is that close). I would say connaught is closer to 20 minutes walk and metro just over 15 minutes. The roads are not easy for pedestrians - so well splashed from traffic on the days I was there with rain. I would go back for the hotel but did not find the location that great so that would put me off.

Nice big hotel staff very helpful, arranged a sim card and took us to the atm, nothing was too much trouble for them, we actually have 3 separate stays in total on our trip, this was our first stayed and was a good stay

Location of the hotel has no direct excessable by car and cannot be viewed from the road. Had some problem to trace the hotel and carry the luggage to the hotel as we have to go through a bust market for about 50meters.
The staff was the best part of the property, but the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel were also top notch!
All the staff members were so eager to help. From the host at their rooftop restaurant, which is open from breakfast until 10 PM, to the porters who would meet you from your taxi on the road to escort you to the hotel which is tucked off the pedestrian streets/alleyways, everyone wore smile. The hotel is located in the heart of India, only a few minutes from the New Delhi train station.
On my last day in Delhi, I had the entire day to sightsee before my international flight left at midnight. They were so kind as to not only hold my bags for me, but also let me use one of their rooms to take a shower before I headed off to the airport.
The rooms were clean and had everything you needed in them, including a fridge, AC, fan, TV, and bathroom.
The breakfast, in the rooftop restaurant, was delightful with a variety of foods to choose from.
And the price was very reasonable for such a gem in the heart of Delhi. I would stay here again.
I didn’t find this to be a problem, but it is good to know that you need to walk a short way from the main road down the little pedestrian/motorbike streets to get to the hotel, however, you are escorted by the porter who will help you with your bags.

The staff were really attentive, especially Deepak. They could not do more for us, packed our breakfast to go super early. The room was perfect for us, clean and plenty of toiletries. Ac and fans were a welcome addition. I would stay again.
Rooftop bar was a lovely surprise and well worth a visit.
To get there you have to walk through a urine seeped dark and dirty alley which feels really dodgy but this is no reflection on the hotel.
No hooks in the bathroom, this makes showering and keeping clean clothes dry an experience.
