Beautiful room in a great location
Just a little noisy at night with people in the garden but didn’t bother us, just closed the windows!
The staff were friendly, the room was a great size with beautiful furniture and the bed was super comfy! There is a separate entrace for the rooms for easy acess when the bar downstairs in closed.
Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival gave us a free drink while waited. Couldn’t have been more apologetic. Bar area great. Bedroom huge and comfortable.
Only downfall no parking on site but car park over road.
Location for regional travel and sightseeing.

No daily replenishment of in-room hospitality.
Poor quality pillows
No glasses provided and / or water..

Expensive for the experience
The room was lovely, with nice furniture/decor and facilities. It's worth noting that although situated above a busy and popular bar/pub, it did not suffer from noise issues. Remarkable really for such a popular place, but no doubt helped by there being a whole floor between the bar level and the accommodation. The location was also perfect for us and was not too far from the railway station!
Lastly, easy access at any time gave us freedom to be late or early to bed.
Nothing really, the lack of breakfast on site was not a problem because very close by, is a café that serves a smashing breakfast along with also providing splendid sandwiches when we needed something to take with us.

The room, the staff and location, was perfect,
Had a lovely stay. Anyone staying highly recommended the golf club for breakfast.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
No lift and 5 flights of stairs.
No breakfast service although there was an excellent cafe 2 doors away.
We weren't sure how to leave the building at first as there were no staff on duty .
The size of the bedroom,
No assisted access, the small size of the bathroom,

Tried door bell but no answer and had to phone to be let in. No where safe to leave care.
Would have had to park car illegally to off load luggage. Had to find other accommodations still waiting for refund?
