Location. Friendly Attentive Staff.
Service not great but comfortable and great views
Breakfast was good.
Restaurant service was ok but not the best
Needed to have someone available when checking in and checking out.
Great location
Staff seemed to be over stretched.Ran out of wine glasses and white sugar which was intriguing.
Breakfast was good. Situation idyllic.
Room miniscule! Food not as good or varied as I have had at this hotel in the past. Prices also gone up more than expected.
The location is stunning. We only paid for a room and no breakfast. We have stayed here before. The hotel is dated but the location and staff are fantastic. It's a really authentic laid back just relax hotel. It faces the loch so you have amazing views. We were on a car run from Inverness and having been in the region many times and our son marrying in Loch Torridon we know the area well. Switch your phone off ...sit on the benches overlooking the loch ...stay at a hotel which makes no demands and enjoy.
We stayed in several places in Scotland, this was the best for all three staff welcome and friendliness, breakfast and comfortable beds! This was a perfect spot for exploring the area. It was also a lovely active spot for both tourists, like us, and locals.
There was nothing we didn't like. It is an older building, as expected, but the room perfectly updated and comfortable, complete with warm towel rack to dry our damp clothes after a rainy hike!
Incredibly friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Stunning location.
Nice view
Nice restaurant
Location. Overlooking the loch. Great view.
Also staff very pleasant, room clean, good breakfast and very dog friendly
All good
The views and the staff in the bar were lovely. Super comfortable bed and wonderful views.
No staff in the hotel, one person to serve breakfast who was clearly very stressed. The hotel clearly needs lots of updating and decorating since the last time we stayed, the rooms are pretty outdated and shabby. The water was lukewarm for a bath BUT the views were stunning. I think the £250 room rate would be justified if it had a lick of paint and freshen up.
The location is exceptional.
The food is good.
No gf bread despite letting them know in advance 1 guest is coeliac
No lounge as described on website.
Bar very noisy and crowded.
Children 'playing' on piano loudly and badly during dinner in room open to dining room and noise from bar coming through the other door.
Reservation for dinner mixed up so had to wait for 20+ minutes for table.
Food order confused (and for others too)
Room not refreshed .
Amazing service from staff, very cute and cozy place.
Shower was not great.
Amazing location. Best of all the accomodation we stayed on our tour of Scotland including Isle of Skye.
Excellent accomodation. Comfortable. Incredible sea view.
Attentive staff.
Delicious food in restaurant and bar just next door.
Not much.
Only one member of staff at breakfast. She was overloaded. Unfortunate as service was otherwise very good. Recommend at least two staff members for meal times.
Food was excellent but make sure you book in advance and even though an older property rooms were clean and well maintained - staff friendly and accommodating
Be prepared for shortages of items in the bar and on the menu - it is the reality of a remote location
A sweet little hotel in a pretty location.
Breakfast was limited because a food delivery had not arrived. This was not the fault of the hotel, which is in a remote location.
