4 Habitación Cozumel

We had a lovely stay at Habitación Cozumel... the room itself was very comfortable with a nice patio and all the basic appliances needed in the kitchen. We found the bed comfortable and Julio was an excelent host! He helped recommend some great local places to eat and also some beautiful places to see around the island.

Pros: The room has everything stated that you need including a water jug that you can help yourself to and will be replaced at the host's expense when it runs out. The shower has hot water - just let it run for a minute at full throttle before entering or adjusting the cold. The AC is cool! The TV is great with netflix, youtube, etc. Mrs. Wilma is super sweet and helpful and will replensih towels and do laundry for you as needed. The terrace in front and back is beautifully decorated with live plants. You can hang your own things to dry there. A sweet couple of cats and a dog will be on premises but aren't bothersome. I loved the location, 15 minutes walk from the airport. Taxis do come around the area so you can get to where you need but there's also numbers provided in a book in your room to call a taxi. The book also has tons of information and numbers for booking tours and transportation of all kinds. Very helpful. You can park your bicycle or scooter inside the gate, although I left my scooter outside the gate and it was fine the whole time. The neighborhood is quaint and neighbors are very nice. I loved the neighbors immediately to the right of us. If you're lucky, you'll catch a neighborhood festival right out front. There is also a little convenience store across the street. It's a very tight knit community and this is the best part about staying here!
