A lovely friendly inn. All staff very helpful. Breakfast and Sunday lunch we had there were great.
Owner, Simon was very knowledgeable about the area and made our stay a really enjoyable experience. We will return. Great value for the cost.

Got absolutely nothing a can dislike
Excellent staff, home cooked food was fantastic all within a lovely Country Inn.
Cleanliness not the best, but safe and habitable. The mattress on our bed was something else, I found it safer to try and lay still otherwise an unwelcome spring may appear without warning 🤣🤣.
Simon and all staff were very obliging, helpful and very friendly! Room was very comfortable and location was ideal! Breakfast was very nice!
Nothing to dislike
We chose to stay here due to the proximity to Beamish museum. If you like a traditional country pub this is ideal. Staff and owner where very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast we also ate there on the 2nd night no complaints all lovely!
