Beauty of a stay central bath
Pros:

Pros:

Super friendly staff, really welcoming and flexible. Even looked after our bag pre-check-in so we didn't have to take it to the rugby game. Super clean and comfy- enough bed.

Cons:

Room was really hot and no opening windows, could have done with a fan. Bed was fine - a mattress topper and it would have been perfect!

Don’t expect to store your luggage before check-in
Cons:

I booked this hotel because the information on Booking.com mentioned that they could store luggage before check-in. We had a day trip to Oxford planned on the day we came into Bath, so when we arrived at 9am, we needed to store our luggage.

However, the inn was completely closed and locked. No one answered our knocks or our repeated phone calls. We ended up having to change plans and stay in a different hotel just so we could store our luggage for the day.

I’m still not sure if I’ll get a refund for The Griffin Inn, even though we never actually stayed there. This whole experience was very frustrating and caused a lot of extra expense.

Ok but not for me
Pros:

Clean friendly staff small rooms not well appointed. Noisy until 11-12pm as it’s a pub. Food ok but pricy

Cons:

Attention to detail, no spoons for coffee light changed wall not made good. Shower head needs cleaning and although bedding ok covers are showing signs of wear
