Hôtel charmant avec un magnifique petit jardin zen privé attenant à la chambre. Le manager, Wataru-san, était aux petit soins, nous conduisait en ville, venait nous chercher et nous renseignait avec plaisir.

Hotel was clean and quiet, very large room.

Impeccable service, a spacious and comfortable suite with private parking space located at a central location.

Very clean, well appointed and spacious property. On site parking was a plus as most of the tourist spots and good restaurants were just a short drive away.

なんといってもスタッフさんやオーナーさんの対応が素晴らしいです！お部屋の綺麗さ、アメニティの種類の豊富さ（本当に多い）、暖かい朝食のルームサービス、りんごサイダーのウェルカムドリンクや冷蔵庫の飲み物等、設備面ももちろん完璧ですが、それ以上に気配りに感激しました。行きに弘前駅まで迎えに来られなくなってしまった（送迎は宿泊費に含まれていませんのであくまでサービスです）とのことでタクシーにてホテルへ行きましたが、タクシー代を頂きました。又、翌日は、オーナーさんに弘前城まで送って頂きましたが、弘前城周辺の見どころやおすすめポイント、美味しい駅弁まで色々教えて頂いたおかげで短くも充実した滞在になりました。駅からかなり離れていますが、宿泊者の口コミを信じて駅周辺のビジネスホテルにしなくて本当に良かったです。ただ、洗面所にいると隣の部屋の声が少し気になりましたので、10点ではなく9点とさせて頂きました。

This place turned out to be more like an AirBnb, and not a hotel. Checking and all communication was through WhatsApp. The main person we communicated with was excellent, and even offered to pick us up at the train station. However, when he was away the next day, communication was not as good.

Our room was huge with a very comfortable bed, great bathroom, and bathroom amenities. But it didn't have much natural light. Overall, it was comfortable, but for the price we paid I was expecting something more.

Hotel Zen was beautiful, located near sightseeing locations, the train station, and restaurants, but still provided a private location. The room was clean, spacious, with great amenities. Breakfast is also provided by the staff is you ask the night before. This is an exceptional place to stay, especially if you want to visit Hirosaki, Hirosaki Castle, or take the train to Aomori not too far away. The hotel manager Wataru makes staying here an even better experience. We were blown away by how kind, attentive, and helpful Wataru was. He fulfilled our every request, provided breakfast, and especially and amazing authentic breakfast our last morning there, made restaurant recommendations dn reservations for us, and drove us to and from Hirosaki Castle, the train station, and dinner. His positive attitude, customer service, communication, and overall helpfulness is the best. Hotel Zen is a must stay. Thank you so much to Wataru and Hotel Zen.

I loved everything: from the room, the yukata, and the TV near the bathtub, to all the facial oil products and skincare items like the masks. Every detail was truly appreciated and made the experience even more special.
A special thank you goes to Wataru, who was always available to take you to the different places in Hirosaki you wished to visit and was attentive to every need.
As I said, we will definitely come back! either alone or with my husband!

Beautiful rooms. Excellent service from the Hotel Zen Director Wataru who was accommodating to every need. Ask him for recommendations to nearby attractions, restaurants, and even onsens. Prompt response time as well reachable by phone/chat. English speaker friendly.

Spacious. Morden design. Staffs are very nice and helpful. They even offered to drop us at Hirosaki station.

Our room had been recently renovated and they did a great job - very modern, solid, and clean design and great ofuro. The manager Wataru was so friendly and helpful, he drove us to Hirosaki Park, and also to Hirosaki Eki on the day we left (note there are buses as well). His English is excellent, though I was so happy to also speak in Japanese with him since I am learning the language. There are a number of restaurants within a 10 or 15 min walk, and the one we went to was old school and really good. Definitely would stay at Hotel Zen again!

Hotel Zen director Waturu is extremely wonderful. I have been traveling the world for a very long time, but this is the first time we meet somebody who is perfect in every way, kind, professional, honest, very helpful, polite, cheerful, etc…

Everything! Clean, comfortable, spacious and all the amenities you need (kettle, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, etc). Hot water and great pressure. Walking distance to local shops, restaurants and convenience stores. Wataru was extremely kind and friendly. He went above and beyond every single day to make our stay even more memorable.
