Pros:

Location perfect - quiet and safe. Easy walk to the centre

Cons:

Very few facilities included for this price. No TV in the bedroom and the double bed was quite small. There is no bar or restuarant - just a tiny cafe that serves coffee and sandwiches and pastries up to lunchtime. Also no parking at all

Staff went over and above!

Extremely helpful staff who went over and above to make our anniversary stay memorable.

The bathroom/shower water pressure was very low and the shower head was rather dated.

Pros:

We had the most wonderful welcome and a fantastic stay. The building was beautifully maintained and had a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The gardens were stunning and we had the pleasure of eating breakfast overlooking them. I couldn’t recommend Rhodes House highly enough.

Very pleasent and peaceful.
Pros:

Staff on reception particulary good. The gardens were great and a delight to walk around. The architecture. It felt more like a college than a hotel. Peaceful. Mindful ethics.

Cons:

Breakfast Ok. Patisserie limited. How about ordering on line to enable you to offer a wider range. Good service but he could supervise a patisserie warming oven.

Pros:

Fantastic location, and gorgeous building, and a wonderful view from the room. The gardens are lovely and the staff very friendly.

Cons:

The blind on the window didn't go all the way up, and it was important to shut the door to the bathroom, as the plumbing had a bit of an aroma. I would have liked it if the cafe opened a little earlier than 8 am to buy some breakfast. It isn't far to walk to cafes that are open on Little Claredon Street.

Really relaxing, nostalgic and convenient.
Pros:

We were in Oxford for our graduation and Rhodes House was a really lovely place to stay, somewhere between boutique hotel and graduate college. The room was spacious with all the little things that make a hotel luxurious (coffee machine, tea, fluffy towels, good light and views, good wardrobe space, comfy bed). The staff were also really helpful letting us leave our bags behind the desk after we had checked out.

Cons:
