Hair in bathroom shower when we first arrived
The first room we were given had one newly changed bed with crisp bedding and the other bed had used and rumpled sheets and pillowcases
When I tried to ask the cleaning ladies to change the sheets of the used bed, they just pointed to the area of the front desk and walked away from me. I complained to the front desk and was given a different room.
The lotion on the desk was very good, but there was only about a half inch left in a 12 oz. Bottle.
The door of the hotel room did not lock.
Absolutely everything was brilliant - could walk everywhere in terminal from hotel and then straight to departure lounge for boarding. Had an 18 hour layover at the hotel breaking up London to Sydney route halfway - reduced jet lag to a couple of days only - it usually takes me 2 weeks. My new pathway on European trips from now on . WARNING - almost no food in terminal for strict vegans or vegetarians. Bring something to eat .
Couldn’t connect to my streaming services via the room’s Tv - a minor thing .
- Also a warning to choose the correct transit hotel nearest your arrival/ departure gate - either transit hotel terminal 2 or terminal 1. ( two hour transfer to terminal 1 if you arrive at terminal 2).
The convenience of location, quick check in/out, exactly what needed, kind enough to store my medication in reception fridge
Nothing to say really
The location is great. The shower was outstanding - water pressure, temperature, velocity, coverage - one of the best showers I have ever experienced - especially important on international trips. The bed was comfortable - room is small but comfortable and what is expected in a transit hotel. The only thing I didn’t love was the pillows - soft and spongy.
As stated above - the only thing I didn’t like was the especially soft and spongy pillows - everything else was great.
I had an 18 hour overnight layover at the airport and being able to stay inside of security was fantastic. It meant I had no stress about Clock watching to make sure I was back at the airport in time. It meant I slept well before my journey home no lounging around on chairs and trying to get comfortable all night long..

It was generally fine except for the water situation. Staff was competent and polite. Perfect for a 12 hour layover.
The water in the sink shuts off too quickly and seems to wait about 30 seconds before it will turn on again. When washing my hands, I had to rinse them off in the shower.
As for the shower, the water pressure was very weak and it was not hot. Seems like something is wrong with the plumbing.
Excellent location and easy to find. Beds were very comfortable.
