Amazing experience
Pros:

I stayed here and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, right in front of the river, offering beautiful views and a unique atmosphere. The owners are extremely hospitable, always attentive and ready to help with anything you need.

I booked the orangutan tour with them in Gunung Leuser National Park, and it was a magical experience — well organized and safe. You can tell they know the area very well and care deeply about both visitors and nature.

The accommodation’s restaurant is excellent: fresh, delicious food with great local options worth trying. Without a doubt, I would return here in a heartbeat.

Owner is lier!
Pros:

LIER! Becareful. They charged me two times. And in the end after few weeks still didnt get my money. Lie to me that he will give back my money but still didnt do it. I asked for help booking and they couldt help me with it even if I showed them all corespondence with him that is writing there that they charged me two times. Becareful for this lier!!!

Cons:

Unfortunately I arrived and the first room has no shower, then they moved me to a second room (with hesitation). In this room the sink tap and shower wouldn't work. I understand this is budget accomodation but the amenities were really not good or working.

Simple riverview guesthouse
Pros:

The location was perfect for the price.... Opening th door and the river was right there! If you don't need much as a traveler then this is a comfortable stay for you. Simple and basic room but I'm not mad about it.

Cons:

It is a bit noisy being that the guesthouse is next to the main road (only road) that goes through the village. But this is also the case for the majority of the stays in Bukit Lawang.
