Le spa n'est ouvert que de 8 à 17 h 00...pour se relaxer après une balade au volcan c'est loupé !

We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel for anyone who does not intend to spend much time in Catania, lovely staff
Pros:

Very clean and modern facilities with staff that went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful, great views to Catania and the ocean. Dinners were memorable. The property is about 45 minute drive from Catania which suited us for using the property as a base to visit surrounding areas. Very convenient for exploring Mt. Etna and surrounding wine region. Best pizza in Sicily!

Cons:

The remote location was a blessing as we did not much care for Catania, driving was a nightmare, poor roads and lack of public transit so a car was a necessity, unfortunately GPS was not upto date so easy to get lost. Breakfast was not upto the dinner standard and no lunch service.

Lovely boutique hotel with views of Etna
Pros:

Fabulous boutique hotel, our room had a terrace and a view of Etna erupting at night!! The room was quite large and was lovely. The staff were great, one host in particular was really excellent, he made us feel very welcome and was really helpful. The hotel was 5-10 minute walk into Nicolosi and about 10 minute uphill walk to the start of Etna parkrun. Great location for Etna & other sightseeing. Free parking outside.

Cons:

The restaurant & drinks were quite expensive but there are lots of options in Nicolosi.

Comportamento inaccettabile che getta un’ ombra enorme su un servizio altrimenti impeccabile.

Struttura bellissima, team cordiale, location ottima e arredo della stanza davvero carinissimo: un soggiorno che inizialmente sembrava perfetto sotto ogni aspetto.

Cons:

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel (2 persone, 1 notte) e l’ esperienza è stata inizialmente eccellente: struttura bellissima, servizio impeccabile, ristorante ottimo e team gentile. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che, di mia spontanea volontà, ho chiesto informazioni sulla loro politica riguardo la gratuity e ho lasciato un piccolo discretionary per esprimere apprezzamento.

Purtroppo però, la parte successiva ha rovinato completamente l’ impressione: dopo la partenza ho dovuto contattarli per un oggetto smarrito. Inizialmente mi era stato confermato che fosse stato ritrovato, ma in seguito è “sparito” nuovamente. La gestione è stata a dir poco spiacevole: ci venivano dati degli ultimatum per ricevere aggiornamenti che non sono mai stati rispettati e ogni volta siamo stati noi a dover rincorrere il personale, senza ottenere risposte chiare.

Un comportamento poco serio e non all’ altezza del livello di servizio che l’ hotel aveva dimostrato durante il soggiorno. Un vero peccato, perché basterebbe più correttezza e professionalità nella gestione del lost and found per rendere l’ esperienza davvero impeccabile. Ma soprattutto sarebbe bastata chiarezza e onestà (in quanto non sono neanche responsabili del mio lost), invece di prese in giro e continui cambi di versione, facendoci sentire raggirati come nessun ospite dovrebbe mai sentirsi.

Ottimo il ristorante giu, molta tranquillità ma ovviamente prezzi sopra la media,per una nicchia di clienti esigenti pulizia maniacale e disponibilità del personale ottima

Cons:

La spa non era disponibile per tutto il soggiorno e fuori piscina con acqua fredda non riscaldata quindi quasi inutilizzabile date le temperature di quelle zone

Nettes kleines Hotel, außerhalb der Stadt und mit Ausblick

Nettes kleines Hotel mit freundlichen Personal. Ausstattung war gut, Aussicht nicht schlecht

Cons:

Leider doch recht weit von der Stadt und vor allem von Stränden etc entfernt. sehr schade ist, dass der Pool nur bis 17 Uhr geöffnet ist und trotz täglichen vorbestellend des Frühstücks hat meistens was gefehlt und man musste es separat nachbestellen.
