Our stay was enjoyable. We went to Lake Tyrell then back to the hotel. Looked around town.
Pros:

Didn't know breakfast was available or provided.
Because of our age a lift would have been wonderful.
Dinner was excellent both nights.
The hotel itself was great including the bar.
Service was good and the staff friendly.

Cons:

The upstairs ladies toilet door didn't close properly.

A Unique Stay in a Beautiful Country Pub Hotel
Pros:

Royal Hotel is the only accomodation right in the town of Sea Lake. It has been beautifully renovated. We really like the fact that a group of locals got together to revive the old pub and we are happy to support it by staying here when we visited Lake Tyrrell which is just 9 km away. We were delighted by the whole experience. Nice room and comfortable bed with adequate facilities. The pub has a friendly easy going vibe and the food offered is tasty and beautifully presented. It is highly recommended.

Terrific hotel in a beaut town with amazing stargazing.
Pros:

Real Aussie atmosphere. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Nice kitchen upstairs if you prefer to cook your own meals. Awesome verandah to sit and relax. 5 min to the best star show at night. 2 min to the silo art and night show.

Quite acceptable, would stay again.
Pros:

Our choice was the proximity to the salt lake. We came to view and photograph the area. Staff were friendly and the meals were good. Beds were comfy. Locals didn't seem to mind us. Streets were eerie quiet in the morning, change from city life.

Cons:

Facilities need a little improvement, I didn't mind the amenities down the hall, but, showers and door locks should be improved (I work as a locksmith and we had expensive cameras so this is a bug bear of mine) Hot water delay not really an issue but tapware needs attention, particularly showers. An information brochure should be looked into as sometimes staff fail to remember everything (human trait, not judging).
