The food and the pool
The smell of the room and no hot water.
The staff were lovely and whilst the infrastructure was worn and tired the staff and their work ethic/ cleaning of furniture was insanely impressive.
In honesty I’m just privileged so I prefer more modern places and for that, I need to pay for it. So I’d say if you’re used to European standards on pools etc it may not be for you.
I had an amazing stay at Angela’s Pool Resort in Palawan. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool is crystal clear and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ensuring that guests felt comfortable and taken care of. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, providing a great level of comfort and privacy. Additionally, the resort is conveniently located near popular attractions, making it easy to enjoy everything Palawan has to offer. My family and I had an amazing time staying in Angela’s Pool Resort. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay in the resort is memorable and enjoyable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The swimming pools are excellent. There are life guards near the pool so safety of everyone is indeed their priority. The staff are friendly and accommodating providing exceptional service. The food was impeccable. No wonder a lot of people kept coming back because of their quality service and good amenities.
Location is really bad, specially during rainy season...mosquitoes are extra plenty.. not safe for elderly and children.
I booked online for 2 queen beds, but they downgrade us to 1 double bed and 1 single bed...i did not agree, so they put us in a family room but with bad air-condition, plenty of mosquitoes and the rest room is flooding. The room is too bad. not clean.. smells horrible. Management is not careful with how to handle their client. Never expect good breakfast. Never dare to book on this resort. Not decent enough to be called resort.
staff are great
shared bathroom, noisy neighbour, some occupants even smoked pot inside the building. i complained but I didn’t see them do anything about it anyway. i am allergic to smoke. have to suck it up.
accidentally broke a glass and paid 50 pesos. not bad at all.
swimming pool doesn’t look clean.
ordered spaghetti and carbonara at around 7:15. was give spaghetti without sauce just brown beef on top. we did not complain coz the staff said the cooked did not show up to cook and she did the cooking.
probably she forgot to add spaghetti sauce no big deal. we went to jolibee afterwards .
