Nett, aber heizungstechnisch schlecht
Pros:

Nette kleine Hütten, sehr sauber, WLAN super, sehr nettes Personal. Super Ausblick! Nur ca, 20 min. von der Einfahrt zum Izaru weg.

Cons:

Ich wusste, dass die Hütten sehr schlecht beheizt beheizt sind und war eigentlich darauf vorbereitet. Und wollte das eben deswegen nicht als negativ kommentieren. Aber das geht einfach nicht und deswegen meiner Meinung nach die Unterkunft kein „sehr gut“ in der Bewertung. Die Hütten sind nicht isoliert. Auch vom Boden her nicht. Der Heizlüfter ist ein Witz. In der Nacht hatte es draußen nur 9 Grad, dementsprechend kalt war es nachts im Zimmer. Ich wollte den Heizlüfter aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht die ganze Nacht laufen lassen. Der Kontakt von Stecker zur Steckdose war.. sehr wackelig..
Zum Duschen habe ich das Bad mit meinem Föhn vorgewärmt..
Auch das Frühstück war nicht gut..miese Croissants und Toasts, die nach ihrer Plastikumverpackung geschmeckt haben.
Schade, man könnte wirklich mehr draus machen.

Perfect location for our trip to Irazu volcano. The receptionist stayed on duty for our late arrival.

We struggled to find the location. Contacted the host for help, but no response. The room was cold with inadequate heating.

Pros:

L'emplacement pour une ascension matinale vers le volcan irazu, le chalet joli.

Cons:

Le froid glacial dans le chalet sans aucune isolation : plancher disjoint, courant d'air à l'intérieur ... La chambre sale (traces de chaussures au sol, bloc toilette poussiéreux...) et surtout des chiens qui ont aboyé toute la nuit ne permettant aucun repos.Pour 113 dollars nous espérions une prestation parfaite et nous avons été très déçus

Super Situation
Pros:

L'emplacement est fantastique au-dessus de la ville de Cartago à 2500 m le long du versant de l'Irazu. Les Chalets sont très grands et bien équipés. Le personnel est très sympathique

Cons:

Le petit-déjeuner est un peu léger, pas beaucoup de choix, peu de choses à disposition.

Ok for a short stay but not good value
Pros:

Good location and views
It’s cold at night but the old fashioned electric heater kept the temperature up.

Cons:

The decor and equipment is tired. Bathroom door latch needs replacing. At one point it self locked on closing but the screwdriver on my penknife allowed me to reopen. The breakfast is very mediocre. No meats or eggs

Traumhafte Lage mit Blick auf San Jose und Cartago.

Flexibilität: wir hatten für 8 Uhr Eintritt zum Irazu Vulkan und konnten dann um halb 10 noch frühstücken.

Großes Chalet mit Terrasse, traumhaft für Sonnenuntergang beobachten.

Zimmer an und für sich wirklich toll und modern eingerichtet.

Cons:

Badezimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Zugig. Chalet liegt auf 2.500m in der Nacht Außentemperatur 9 Grad. Chalet nicht isoliert.
