Great Value for money
Pros:

1. The location is so close to mg road that walking for food and shopping never felt a task
2. the view from the room is amazing.. very happy with the stay.. we were lucky that we saw kanchenjunga also from the window

Cons:

1. The room was on the 6th floor which I loved but the lift was only going till the 5th floor so it will not be suitable for anyone who can't take stairs
2. Since the room was on the top floor, pigeons used to start making a lot of noise since 5 in the morning disturbing the sleep. If something could be done for the pigeons it would be best

If you want to be close to mg Marg then it’s a good option. The bed is comfy and the AC is good. Bathroom is decent and clean. We could see the stadium from our room.

Staff was not helpful at all, the overall attitude was not great especially the person at the check in. Felt like he didn’t care at all. The worst part was the elevator that makes a ding sound every time it opens on a floor. The elevator kept opening and making that noise the entire night and since it’s a small and narrow building every room was inconvenienced and disturbed by that sound. I couldn’t sleep at all. Had to open the door and tell the staff to stop using the elevator so late at night or get the sound disabled. We complained about it but they didn’t really bother much. So I didnt have a pleasant stay here overall and I would not recommend it.

The best rain shower ever!
Pros:

The best part was the fully air conditioned facilities in this wintry cold! Very comfortable bed. Toiletries in bathroom very good.. the best was the rain shower.. best one I've experienced in all the hotels I've stayed at. Vegetarian spread at breakfast also impressive! The view of the town along the hillside from the big windows was fascinating.. despite the haze and mist!

Cons:

Wasting a lot of water waiting for hot water made me feel guilty. The sound of the elevator arriving at the floor every time was a bit irritating.

Good value for money stay in Gangtok
Pros:

Centrally located and very close to MG Marg. The hotel also had a good view of the entire city of Gangtok.

Cons:

The service could have been much better. We went out for dinner and came back at 9pm to see the front shutter has been closed. We ended up waiting for 15-20 min on the road waiting for someone to open the gates. There was no staff in the hotel after 9.30pm, so no service.
