a bit on the pricier side, but at the time it was worth it for us.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful and the environment around the property was exceptional

Cons:

The rooms don't have an AC. It wouldn't be a problem - I actually prefer an open window, but there was no mosquito net and people on the balcony below were smoking. Therefore there was a very strong cigarette smell in the room.

Very enjoyable stay.

We used stairs in our building to reach second floor. An elevator would have been nice.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr sehr nett.

Cons:

Es fehlt im Bad eine Ablage für Kosmetikartikel. Und ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Aber das ist Jammern auf höchstem Niveau

Pros:

Gute Lage, freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Sauna viel zu klein, eher wie Heimsauna. Einrichtung aus den 60ern , auch im Bad. Essensangebot könnte flexibler sein. Es war nur möglich, sich komplett für Halbpension zu entscheiden oder gar kein Essen zu bekommen.

Das Abendessen sowie Frühstück waren sehr gut, dort war für jeden etwas dabei.

Das Personal ist sehr Freundlich und versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.

Die Lage des Hotel ist sehr gut, in wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß an der Bushaltestelle von wo man mit der Gästekarte Kostenlos mittels Bus Berchtesgaden und Umgebung erkunden kann.

We, a family of five, came to this place after visiting Budapest, Vienna and Salzburg over Christmas and new years holidays. We had a perfect stay at the hotel and in the nature in the Königssee area to finish our holidays.
The building and the property are very idyllic. We had a spacious family suite with beautiful views to the mountains. The breakfast was very good, as well as the dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We also liked the pool and sauna area, especially after a cold day out. The indoor kids play area was also great and we also played some ping pong there in the evening and loved how fairytale-like the area around the hotel was covered in snow.
The property has a great location, too. The area of Königssee and Berchtesgaden is beautiful and offers many activities which we could easily reach with the car because of the great location.
First we thought we would stay one night only but we stayed the whole weekend in the end and would love to come back again.
