Absolut empfehlenswertes kleines Hotel mit Dachterrasse
Pros:

Perfekt gelegenes Hotel auf einem kleinen Hügel gleich neben Ichigaya Station. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Betten angenehm und weich. Zimmer sehr sauber und groß genug, um sich zu zweit wohlzufühlen. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Pros:

Very polite staff.

Cons:

There is not much things around the hotel. 3-4 stations to Shinjuku. Hotel is located on the hill and you have to claim about 100 meters. No elevator inside the hotel. No modern Japanese famous heating toilets. :-(

Pros:

Close to the train station, ichigaya. Uphill and no elevator but owners help you with luggage. Everything you need is there, nail cutter, q tips, comb etc

The staff were very helpful and friendly in this comfortable cosy hotel. The room was great and supplied with fridge-freezer, and kettle, and there was tea and coffee available, dishes, cups, chopsticks, cutlery and all the usual shampoos and shower gels. Fabulous central location. Rooftop tables and chairs with sparkling lights to watch Tokyo sunsets, inexpensive laundry facilities, effective room heating and air-conditioning, flexible room servicing, separate luggage storage if required,. Many many local shops, cafes, restaurants and take aways. Short walk to ichigaya railway station.

11/10 - the whole group loved it
Pros:

This is the warmest welcome and stay we have ever had! The kindest people work there - all the recommendations - from where to eat, to what to see on top of what we have planned, was top notch!
The place is really cozy, cats everywhere, and on top of that (pun intended) - an awesome rooftop! Location is perfect - train/metro station and great restaurants nearby.
