Best place to recharge, be sure to stay at least 3 nights!!
Pros:

A really peaceful stay, away from crowds, quiet, sound of birds singing, rustic, perfect to read a book on your terrace, wonderful sunset by the river. The staff are incredibly attentive, specially at breakfast, everyone is so kind and smily. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and varied options depending on the day, yummy pastries and coffee. Overall a 10 star stay, will definitely stay here again.

El nombre de este alojamiento describe perfectamente lo que el lugar es, un precioso Resort a orillas del Mekong donde tanto su propietario como todo el personal disfrutan y reciben a cada viajero como un miembro más de esta gran familia.
El desayuno es espectacular con buffet de fruta fresca, pan casero, una selección de 2 quesos diferentes cada día, mermeladas más que variadas más una selección exquisita de té y por si fuera poco a todo esto se le acompaña con un menú a la carta que varía cada día.
La propiedad es preciosa, las habitaciones son amplias, limpias, completas tanto a nivel de decoración Laosiano como de servicio de minibar. Las camas son grandes, cómodas y con almohadas y sábanas que te harán pensar que duermes sobre una nube.
Todo el personal es amabilísimo, este lugar tiene alma y contribuye a cuidar, formar y dar oportunidades de trabajo y formación a muchos jóvenes. Sin duda un lugar que no te dejará indiferente y que sentirás como un hogar.
Podría resumir lo mucho que nos encantó este lugar destacando que inicialmente reservamos para una semana ampliando 2 días más y volviendo otros 5 días tras una escapada a Nongkhiaw.

Pros:

On the Mekong Resort is an oasis of beauty and kindness. It's rustic yet modern, and the riverfront setting is breathtaking. Henry, the owner, welcomes guests as family and shares his love of Laos and knowledge of the area to ensure that everyone has a good time. Breakfasts at waters edge are exceptional, the staff is friendly, and the tuk tuk is available all day long for the short ride into town. We were there just two nights and wish we had booked a longer stay. We fell in love with the place.

Pros:

This resort is located right along the Mekong River, though most rooms don't have a view of the river. However, the view of the river from the breakfast area is wonderful, including their herb & vegetable gardens. The breakfast was delicious with pastries and breads from local bakeries, fresh-made omelets and eggs, and fresh fruit, juices and coffee. We had an early outing one day and the staff delivered a box breakfast for us to take. Our room was spacious with a nice seating area and a shared porch. The swimming pool was lovely. The staff were super helpful.

Cons:

We loved the location along the river, with a temple right next door, but it was a long walk or short tuk-tuk ride to get to the town, the market and restaurants.

Die Worte des Besitzers waren: I don't see my resort as a business, but as a place where friends come and go.

Das sagt alles. Wir fahren seit 20 Jahren fast jährlich nach Südost Asien, aber in diesem Resort haben wir uns am wohlsten gefühlt.

Zum Schluss: Es gibt keine bessere Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang über dem Mekong in Luang Prabang als aus dem Garten des Resorts

Von der Größe gut ausreichende Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet sind

Alle interessanten Touren werden auch über das Hotel angeboten. Wir haben hier sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht, insbesondere die nützlichen persönlichen Tips von Besitzer Henry und seinem Team.

Es sind ca 3km in die Stadt. Die Fahrt hin mit dem dem Tuk Tuk direkt vor dem Resort ist kostenlos. Die Rückfahrt kosten ca 3 Euro

Alles bestens. Wir haben heute na jeden Tag auf das Frühstück gefreut. Das war sehr sehr gut mit ganz freundlichen Mitarbeitern die wirklich hier jeden Tag ihr bestes gebe

On the Mekong resort est un bijou et porte bien son nom, nous avons vu nos plus beaux couchers de soleil du Laos ici. Nous devions rester 3 nuits, nous en sommes restés 12 ! L'hôtel est un écrin de verdure, chaleureux, bien équipé avec beaucoup de charme. Les chambres sont très belles et très bien décorées, la literie est top. Le petit déjeuner est juste exceptionnel ! Le personnel est adorable, très serviable, gentil. Le propriétaire Henry et la manageuse Nee sont vraiment super et accueillants. La piscine est top, on peut emprunter des vélos gratuitement pour aller en ville (10-15min de vélo selon l'endroit), un tuktuk fait la navette aller vers le centre gratuitement également dans la journée. Gros coup de coeur !

Pros:

This is not an off-the-shelf hotel but a tailor made one for all those seeking authenticity. This is reflected in every detail, in the architecture of the complex, in the lovely and individually decoration of each room, in its situation right next to the Mekong. We can recommend this resort with a clear conscience to all those who not only want to travel to a country but truly experience it. We have rarely spent our stay as pleasently as here. Thanks a lot to Mr. Henry and his team.

Truely Magical will definitely be staying again!

Breakfast was Delicious. Fresh bread & conserves. Avacado toast & poached eggs. Pancakes, fruit & yogurt. Fresh coffee, good selection of herbal teas. Real butter. Great location by the Mekong! Wonderful ambiance
