Could have been so much better
Pros:

Dinner was nice, drinks at the boor were ok but cramped

Cons:

The room had leaks around the window that hadn't been repaired, and as a result, the room had a musty, damp smell. The room was very small. Staff welcome at check-in was poor

Perfect cosy getaway!

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at The Gamekeeper’s Inn and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! ❤️

The hotel is in such a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning countryside and scenery, making it the perfect place for a relaxing break away. It has such a lovely atmosphere and is ideal for a romantic getaway, with plenty of gorgeous places nearby to explore, including Skipton and the breathtaking Malham Cove.

Our stay was everything we wanted it to be — a chance to relax, spend some quality time together and enjoy a change of scenery. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, especially if you love countryside walks, picturesque villages and cosy country pubs.

It’s the perfect combination of a peaceful countryside escape while still being close enough to visit lovely places and enjoy everything the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.

The bedroom was so cosy and clean with a huge comfy bed! And breakfast the next morning was incredible! I am not a fry up breakfast lover at all but loved that they offered a yummy granola bowl!

We’ve made some lovely memories and would definitely recommend The Gamekeeper’s Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting. We would happily return! 🥰

Pod at long ashes
Pros:

Ww had a pod very comfortable and clean and a seafood sharing platter at the gamekeepers lodge..it was delicious and fresh

Cons:

Used the leisure facilities but d8d,nt realise it was included

Ok but a tad disappointed as Ned not so comfortable for us

Lovely stay and would definitely return
Pros:

Breakfast good but would have liked some fresh fruit. In general meals were good value for money.
Lovely area and attractive pub with high standard of cleanliness. I loved the swimming pool and leisure club which we had access to. Our room had everything we needed and expected although a Smart TV would have been good!

Cons:

One thing - I think you should have to opt out of having your room refreshed rather than opt in. It is one of the nice things about staying in a hotel that you come back to a clean room tidied and restocked for you.
We were slightly surprised that our room bill wasn't linked to our food bill so when we checked out, we were told we did not owe anything- having paid for the room in advance.. I had to say that we definitely owed money for several meals.

Good value for money, just a few little minor things
Pros:

Pod is clean, has everything that you need, added touches with tea coffee biscuits was nice, lots of toilet rolls and towels ect. Being able to use the spa and the gym was a nice addition, and my partner used the spa which she said was good. Overall a nice stay and good value for money.

Cons:

I paid for the accommodation in full several days before, and on arrival on check in they took another payment. Having questioned it they said they are refunding but it can take a few days to come back. In the pod all the soaps, washing up liquid were all heavily watered down. There was a wedding on that night so the venue was very busy, we could hear the music from the pod, wasn't a massive issue for us but could be for others. We had breakfast which was nice, however we wasn't sure if this was included and what the cost would be id so as the venue didn't have any costs on, but we found out it did.
