We’ll be back next year.
Pros:

The breakfast was included, it was plentiful, offers a good choice.

Ample parking. Good location with plenty of walks, easy access to the Thames path. Walk to the river, turn left, walk along to the Bounty Pub and enjoy a refreshing drink, food is available.

Cons:

Accommodation clean but tired, decor needs a refresh. The carpet could do with being replaced, maybe a hard floor in the entrance to Room 3. It has plenty of space, large bathroom with shower over bath.

The room and pub were cosy and warm, the food delicious and the staff excellent
Pros:

Cleanliness, comfort and decor of the Room and Bathroom. The Restaurant Food (We had Dinner on one night and Breakfast on 2 mornings) was very good. It was well presented, Hot and Tasty. The Bar and Restaurant Staff were attentive and always eager to help. Tom gets a particular good work mention for his 'can do' attitude and attention to detail. All in all a great stay and the private car park for staying guests is invaluable as the main pub car park was busy.

Cons:

There was nothing about the Crown and facilities we did not like. Top Notch

Weekend away
Pros:

The pub was in a great location at the end of a pretty village high Street, parking at the property was possible although not sign posted for the annex. We enjoyed a great quality breakfast.

Cons:

Our room and the double bed were small and the bathroom definitely needs updating, the shower tray took ages to drain. Heating not easy to control. No booklet in the room re wifi code, breakfast times, menu etc. Couldn't open the window for ventilation as the wood was rotten. The wifi was poor, and the TV kept losing signal. We felt the room was value for money as a great breakfast was included, otherwise not so much.

Bit disappointed with the breakfast on my 1st morning, food was fine, but it was luke warm when I git it.

Nice experience
Pros:

It was clean & comfortable, had a great experience.
The food there was beautiful, the dinners were fantastic best meals on a 4 week trip

Perhaps if it was in a better location, but in saying that I. Could spend a week in cookham
