Lovely food, good location, need to pay attention to details.
Pros:

The breakfast was really great (although see comments about menu matching what was actually served) and the evening meal we had was really lovely and well presented. The portions were quite large. The bones are there to make it a great place to stay. Parking was sufficient for the number of rooms and private away from the pub goers. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The television didn't work unless you used BBCiPlayer or other stations accessible via the internet but even then it wasn't great as it kept hanging. The internet was very slow. The light over the mirror in our bathroom wasn't connected at one end and didn't work. We had to ask for hand wash as there were none in the room. These issues were also experienced by friends in another room.
The towel radiator didn't work. There was a crack in one window. Milk had not been left although coffee/tea had been provided.
One item on the breakfast menu was porridge with banana and chia seeds which I was looking forward to. Instead it came with strawberries, blueberries & raspberry. It was really nice but it was a problem to a friend who is allergic to strawberries.

Thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room. Great location and parking and the food, particularly the breakfast was exceptional. Great staff. Great Value for money.

Great value and lovely breakfast
Pros:

Handy location for both the village, river Thames and train station. Also has free parking. Great breakfast.

Comfy and great value
Pros:

Comfy bed, so an excellent night’s sleep. Easy access from car park to room, no stairs which is always a bonus. Great (& huge!) breakfast, lovely staff

Cons:

My tv didn’t work, not a huge deal. Also, lock on door was stiff and a bit tricky for arthritic hands. Both minor issues

This pub with rooms provides a great place to relax on a short break.
Pros:

This pub provides very comfortable rooms with great food from their kitchen. Not often I feel obliged to personally thank the chef at breakfast and dinner!

The property is situated just outside the village with easy access to walks along the Thames.

Just fine except for early shut-down at 8pm.
Pros:

GREAT BREAKFAST AND ATTRACTIVE LOCATION. Food menu very appealing. Bedroom comfortable and clean, with good en suite bath/shower room.

Cons:

Unfortunately, on the August bank holiday weekend The Crown closed for both drink at 8pm, which was very inconvenient for me as a solo guest. Website should have alerted me and others to these early closures It would have influenced my decision to book 4 nights at The Crown.

Lovely stay, great breakfast, value for money
Pros:

Lovely stay, room comfortable, bathroom good, overall a great place that was value for money. The breakfast was exceptional, all great fresh ingredients, nicely presented, well cooked, very good value for money, we recommend.

Cons:

Room was hot, as towel rail in the bathroom was on and couldn't find away to turn it off.

Great for Peace and Quiet very customer friendly.
Pros:

Very helpful and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Great food with a varied menu. Comfortable and very spacious room. Lovely location with nature walks from the door along the Thames and National Trust sites.

Pros:

The breakfast is amazing!
Bedroom nice.

Cons:

Bathroom desperately needs a refurb... back of toilet leaking, toilet handle broken, hot tap loose, light over mirror not working and half the shower door missing!!
