Upon arrival to the hotel, all reservations will require pre-authorization with a credit card or cash deposit to cover any extras during your stay. All incidentals should be settled prior to departure. Car parking is not included in your reservation. Parking must be booked online in advance via the hotel website and should be booked 24 hours prior to arrival. Conference Aston operates a no smoking policy throughout the hotel and conference center, including the central courtyard area. If guests wish to smoke, there is a designated smoking area which is available outside the main reception. Please be advised that guests who do smoke in the bedrooms will be charged GBP 50.00 to cover specialist room cleaning. The Gym and Swimming Pool facilities are nearby, not onsite, and managed separately to the hotel where opening times vary daily. The Swimming Pool is therefore subject to availability and not guaranteed as part of your reservation. Only residents named on the hotel bedroom reservation will be permitted access to the hotel. Nonresident guests are not permitted to stay within guest accommodations without a valid reservation. I booked this hotel for my brother as he was stuck in Birmingham I kept calling the hotel to make sure if everything was ok they were amazing the staff were very professional over the phone and made me at ease.
Not sure I was not the one who stayed but the employees over the phone were amazing
Light and airy room, very clean, welcoming staff, lovely cosy room with everything I needed. Breakfast very good, lots of option. Very impressive service such as wake up calls, pillow changes if you don’t like the pillows provided, and they even offer toiletries such as shaving kits/toothbrushes etc if you’ve forgotten to bring anything!
The bed was a bit firm for me, but may be preferred by other people. It was advertised to have “air con” but it was actually just a desk fan. I didn’t mind this, but was a bit misleading.

En suite loo door was glass, so potentially visible from window. Net curtains give some protection when curtains proper are pulled back but it's not good design, imho.
Breakfast was excellent, much better than I had expected. Also appreciated the fan in the room. Perfectly clean room and very soft and fluffy towels.
As it was a heatwave, I would have liked Air conditioning or to have been able to open the windows wider to let more air in.
