Pros:

Nous avons eu un très bel accueil, c’est situé pas très loin de l’aéroport donc parfait pour notre petite escale avant de repartir. La piscine était grande et propre, notre chambre également et nous avons super bien mangé !

Die Unterkunft wird von einem deutschsprachigen Ehepaar geführt, und wir hatten dort zwei wunderschöne Tage.

Beware of cockroaches and nasty female owner.
Pros:

Bernard was very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Cons:

Staff: while Bernard the male owner was lovely, Sonya the female owner was very drunk, and yelled at me for checking in late which has been agreed upon and organised prior. They are both German and don’t much speak English so communication was very difficult.

Location: it’s directly across from a large cemetery, far from the centre, and need to take Tuktuk to go anywhere.

Insects: the room I was initially given had 2 cockroaches, Bernard came in and killed the smaller one with his barehand, and the large one went hiding and couldn’t be found. That’s when I requested to change rooms and that’s when Sonya yelled very loudly while off her face drunk and naked from the room next to me. The second room although didn’t have cockroaches, it had lots of ants and spiders.

Comfort: the mattress was awful and makes a lot of noise, the pillows are also very uncomfortable.

All in all, easily the worst place I stayed in my entire 2 and half week trip in Sri Lanka and would not recommend.

Pros:

Die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich und bemüht sich den Wünschen nachzugehen. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und grün.

Cons:

Die Lage außerhalb der Anlage ist leider nicht wirklich schön.

Cons:

Die Entfernung zum touristischen Zentrum ist relativ groß, mit Tuktuk aber kein Problem.

eine grüne Oase - wir kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist einfach supergut - eine grüne Oase abseits vom hektischen Treiben und perfekt für den Beginn oder das Ende einer Sri Lanka-Reise.
Die Gastgeber Sonja und Bernard sind herzlich, hilfsbereit und diskret.
Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, alle haben haben entweder eine Terrasse oder einen Balkon. Die Betten sind bequem und die Dusche (mit Abtrennung zum restlichen Badezimmer) funktioniert hervorragend.
Es war so schön, dass wir uns am ersten Tag kaum fortbewegt, sondern einfach nur wie im Paradies gefühlt haben.
Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen wird individuell zubereitet - alles ist super köstlich.
Gerne möchten wir auch am Ende unserer Reise wieder hier wohnen.

Sehr hübsche kleine Unterkunft. Helle, große und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Schöner grüner und blühender Garten mit Pool. Tolles frisch zubereitetes Frühstück und Abendessen. Familiäre Atmosphäre bei angenehmen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Dankeschön!
