Hotel ma przyznanych 5 gwiazdek. Byliśmy w hotelach o lepszym standardzie, które miały 4 gwiazdki.
Pros:

Śniadanie było standardowe. Nie było nic co by go wyróżniało wyróżniało. Lokalizacja - zbyt daleko do centrum czy nad ocean. Podobało nam się zielone otoczenie hotelu chociaż mogłoby być bardziej zadbane. Łóżko wygodne z miękką przyjemną pościelą.

Cons:

Mankamentem był brak klimatyzacji. Dowiedzieliśmy się, że jest włączana tylko w sezonie. Chcąc podłączyć czajnik musieliśmy szukać gniazdka w innym niezbyt wygodnym miejscu, bo przy stoliku z czajnikiem było tylko jedno gniazdko do którego podłączony był był telewizor. W łazience było tylko gniazdko "angielskie", o którym nas nie uprzedzono i nie można było podłączyć lokówki.

Pros:

Really lovely hotel with a beautiful view, comfortable bed, very good WiFi, parking, great pool, fascinating garden with loads of amazing trees and flowers, fantastic breakfast, friendly staff, good location not far from motorway junction (about 3k uphill from city centre - we always walked down and took taxi back). Nice dinner one night but not very Portuguese so preferred to eat out.

Cons:

Shower should be better for a hotel in this price range. Room smelled musty as if it had been shut up for a long time. Minor things.

Relaxed atmosphere, size of compound allows for privacy.
Pros:

Very nice garden, terrasse at the pool, nice large rooms, very relaxed environment as a starting point for hikes.

Cons:

Room safe was too small.

Cons:

Unnötig komplizierte bzw. strenge Reservierungsregelung für Jacuzzi & Sauna. Liegen am Pool dürfen nicht gedreht oder bewegt werden, ebenfalls unnötig strenge Regelung.

Magnifique Quinta pour découvrir Madère
Pros:

Equipe très accueillante, disponible et arrangeante au sein d'un magnifique établissement situé sur les hauteurs de Funchal, au calme de l'agitation de la ville : un vrai petit coin de paradis !

Cons:

L'isolation phonique peut laisser parfois à désirer, notamment vis a vis des bruits dans le couloir. Mais vraiment rien de gênant au quotidien !

Beautifully relaxing with very helpful, and warm staff.
Pros:

We found the property to be presented tastefully, was very well cared for and relaxing.

Cons:

We liked most things about the property but felt that the “snooker room” was an area that could be developed to be more of an area for real relaxation and comfort . Warm and welcoming reading room with cards and board games with perhaps a small bar with tea, coffee and a few small pastries etc. All presented with the same degree of taste and comfort as the rest of the hotel.

Het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf.
Pros:

De echte antieke meubels, het schitterende decor, de prachtige Perzische tapijten, het eiken parket, dat alles maakt dat grote moderne hotels in het niet vallen.

Cons:

De douche bleek niet goed door te lopen en zorgde voor menig natte handdoek. Niets zo moeilijk als in een oud gebouw de waterhuishouding te herstellen.

Joli jardin mais pas immense, disponibilité d´une navette pour le centre de Funchal, excellent petit déjeuner et très bon restaurant avec un service de classe. Calme.

Cons:

Décoration des chambres un peu désuète, tout comme la salle de bain (baignoire/douche) au lieu de douche à l italienne
