Pros:

Die Lage ist günstig (kurzer Weg zum Tunnel), gutes Essen.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft macht einen etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck, besonders die Fenster!
Bis warmes Wasser kommt dauert es Minuten. Spartanische Ausstattung.

Lovely stay in a homely and characterful pub
Pros:

Comfortable and homely pub. Excellent pub food and service. I liked the draft ale. Room was fine for me but depends what you are looking for - not a perfectly formed soulless box as you might get in a hotel chain - but character, clean and a lovely view over the green. I found the bed comfortable. It might not be a destination in itself but if you are visiting the area overnight then it’s a good choice.

Cons:

I liked it all but could do with some more coat hooks in the room.

Great Stay in an Historic Inn
Pros:

Superb location on The Pilgrims Way. Exceptional staff and very nice restaurant/pub. Breakfast was very hearty. The inn is ancient but well-modernized.

Cons:

Note that rooms are on the second floor up a winding staircase and if you have mobility issues you will need to discuss them with the inn.

A nice pub with outside seating looking onto a cricket pitch.
Pros:

Nice location with easy parking. The bar does evening meals, but not on Sundays so for us it was a 40 minute walk (or a short drive) into town where there were some options for eating.

Je recommande tout de même pour une nuit

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bien et cadre très agréable (jardin, pub)
Le personnel est très à l’écoute
La propreté des sanitaires

Cons:

La chambre en équipement est correct. Chambre sans aucun style (pour un 4 étoiles même norme locale) c’est dommage par rapport à la belle demeure. Le confort du lit n’est pas au top.
Nous entendons parler les voisins des autres chambres, pas suffisamment insonorisé

The inn with so much hospitality tradition for centuries.
Pros:

The landlord Paul..most hospitable of all people .The staff were friendly. I was given a bag full of goodies when I told them that I would miss breakfast because of my early departure.
The location was perfect for my final walking stage to Canterbury.

Pros:

The pub, staff and food were fantastic. We brought our 3 dogs back from Spain and it was perfect for them as large grass area.

Cons:

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and was not level it sloped towards headboard. Mattress made noises every time you moved. The place could also do with renovating.

The Flying Horse Inn is an old style inn/pub that delivers on both counts.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and large, and the food in the pub was quite good.

Pleasant stay great hospitality just needs the tweaks
Pros:

Location staff hospitality and food were absolutely fantastic and you can see that it’s a work in progress pub and they’re doing a great job with it.

Cons:

We know that this pub is a work in progress and understand there’s stuff still to do.
Bedroom was a bit dated and small, the bed wasn’t that comfortable, mattress felt like it was past its best, there wasn’t any hangers or hooks to hang our wet clothes or dry clothes in the wardrobe, heating wasn’t brilliant throughout the afternoon/evening
