Comfortable old worldy inn in a great situation.
Pros:

The location. The interior of the inn, good menu selection, congenial surroundings.

Cons:

The room was quite spacious but very quirky. The bedside lights didn't appear to work and the bathroom corridor light came on once anyone in the bedroom moved.

Pros:

Direkt am Pilgrims' Way gelegen und somit sowohl für eine Übernachtung als auch für eine Mittagsrast perfekt geeignet.
Das Frühstück bot eine gute Auswahl zur Stärkung für den nächsten Wandertag.
Im Pub gibt es leckere Speisen und eine breite Getränkeauswahl.

Cons:

Im Bad roch es ungewöhnlich. Entweder ein Reinigungsmittel oder der Bodenbelag. Ich musste darauf achten, die Badtür geschlossen zu halten, damit sich der Geruch nicht im Schlafraum verbreitete.

A lovely place to stay - excellent base for exploring the North Downs area.
Pros:

Good choice for breakfast - cooked to order. Very good range of choices for evening meals. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Interesting historic building in lovely location. Accommodation well suited for walkers.

Cons:

Not keen on hand-held shower over bath.

Its ok.
Pros:

Great location, close to the tunnel and safe parking. Lots of local amenities nearby as well.

Cons:

No shower was available, which I wasn't aware of before getting there. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and the window didn't actually close, which wasn't an issue since it was hot outside.

Pros:

Lovely room with spacious bathroom. Lovely breakfast served by a cheery chef.

Cons:

Unfortunately the bedroom was infested with mosquitos so we didn't sleep well! There was also an annoying security light that kept coming on so we had to keep the door shut. No fresh coffee with breakfast and the landlord was a bit grumpy.

Cons:

We had one of our worst nights stay here. Our room was just above the pub which meant people were just outside of our windows until midnight. Between the noise and the cigarette smoke it was impossible to sleep. We asked for a fan so we could keep the windows closed to help with the noise but they said they didn’t have any.

There was a motion light between our room and our bathroom that would randomly come on for no reason all night long. Of course not only was this quite frustrating, it also encouraged the mosquitos to come in.

Dinner was just ok, it lacked flavor overall, but it was are only option. This could have been a much better stay with a few tweaks thinking about the inn guests a bit more.

Pros:

Vriendelijke mensen, gezellige pub.

Cons:

Klein, smal en kort bed met de veren die er doorheen komen. Kleine slaapkamer en er ruime badkamer, maar geen kast of planken waar je de toilettassen neer kunt zetten. De weg naast de pub wordt in de avond en nacht als racebaan gebruikt, erg gehorig dus niet relaxed.

Great food but poor accommodation
Pros:

Good dinner and very helpful staff.

Cons:

Very hot room with no fan. Had to open windows and were badly mosquito bitten. Hall light to bathroom was on automatically motion sensing with even a slight movement causing light on at all hours. No switch to shut off. Outdoor guest table below window was noisy till late evening. Exiting in early morning was lucky eoth another guest unlocking three kicks on a door.
