Pros:

Vriendelijke mensen, gezellige pub.

Cons:

Cons:

We had one of our worst nights stay here. Our room was just above the pub which meant people were just outside of our windows until midnight. Between the noise and the cigarette smoke it was impossible to sleep. We asked for a fan so we could keep the windows closed to help with the noise but they said they didn’t have any.

There was a motion light between our room and our bathroom that would randomly come on for no reason all night long. Of course not only was this quite frustrating, it also encouraged the mosquitos to come in.

Dinner was just ok, it lacked flavor overall, but it was are only option. This could have been a much better stay with a few tweaks thinking about the inn guests a bit more.

Great food but poor accommodation
Pros:

Good dinner and very helpful staff.

Cons:

Very hot room with no fan. Had to open windows and were badly mosquito bitten. Hall light to bathroom was on automatically motion sensing with even a slight movement causing light on at all hours. No switch to shut off. Outdoor guest table below window was noisy till late evening. Exiting in early morning was lucky eoth another guest unlocking three kicks on a door.

Superb period Inn with wonderful kind staff and owners
Pros:

The Flying Horse inn is a stunning period property and the owners have taken the time to renovate it well within the period. We initially stayed in Faversham with our 10 month old (on the hottest day of the year!) But had some challenges with a faulty safety light. The owners were incredibly kind and moved us to Canterbury which was absolutely perfect! Stunning views of the cricketing green, a superb cooked breakfast, lovely beer garden and again, the owners and staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Only knocking off one mark for our initial night which was up and down due to the light but they were already looking at fixing that. Stay, you wont regret it!

Good pub for lunch or dinner
Pros:

Pretty frontage and outlook. Good for a Sunday lunch. Nice outdoor tables and cosy interior. English cooked breakfast was good. Steak & Ale pie very good.

Cons:

Didn’t like the decor in room. Needs a coat of paint. Cheap looking furniture and shabby looking overall. Disappointed by our stay.
