A szállásadók nagyon segítőkészek voltak, az eddigi legbarátságosabb fogadtatás, mindenképpen irígylésre méltó. Bármiben kellett segítség azonnal segítettek. A szoba nagyon központi helyen, a bazár 8 perc séta, a Hagia Sofia 10 perc, pár percre villamos. Mi mindent sétálva fedeztünk fel, rengeteg étterem a közelben. A szoba nagy, az ágy kényelmes, van bekészítve tea.

Cons:

Ennyi pénzért ne számitsunk nagy luxusra, kopottas bútorok, felújítás ráférne, de ár-érték arányban megfelel teljesen. Amire számítsatok: nem szokás a fürdőszobába üveget tenni, csak egy reluxa szerű valami van, ergó mindig szellőzik a fürdő, télen-ősszel-tavasszal elég hideg van, kicsit kellemetlen fürödni 10 fokban, de ez szerintem lokális szokás nem csak ennél a szállásnál.

Not quite a 3 Star Hotel...

Location was good.

Cons:

It is a "hotel" (more air BnB) next to a gift shop.... it is literally operated from the gift shop.

The family room was poorly lit, the light fixtures were with falling off their holder... or not working... the towels looked old... the toilet cover kept fall down and you have to hold it up by hand... the is a view of the outside through the toilet ventilator fan...

Overall the vibes were off...

Fantastisch
Pros:

Ligging was goed, heel vriendelijk personeel die met hart en ziel klaarstaan om je te helpen. Zeer ruime en schone Kamers.
Terras met een mooi uitzicht.
Lekkere restaurants om de hoek.
Kort gezegd alles was fantastisch.
Ik wil abla nog een keer bedanken voor alles.

Arges Old City Hotel is a lovely family-managed hotel located in the vibrant Fatih district. This is an ideal location for exploring and visiting so many beautiful sights of Istanbul, and the hotel is less than 3 minutes from the local Tram and Metro stations of Sirkeci and Marmary, and less than 5 minute-walk from the Bosphorus Ferry Terminal at Eminonu
As first-time visitor to a very vibrant and Beautiful Istanbul, it was a little overwhelming in the first 24 hours or so. We were very glad to have the guidance of Madam Aja and Mister Naif who not only manage the hotel so professionally, but were most helpful with all the local knowledge and travel tips they kindly shared to help us explore Istanbul with total confidence. A Very Special Stay at Arges Old City Hotel was a Blessing.

NOTHING - however, our 6-day stay was too short - wish we had a couple of extra days
Arges Old City Hotel does not serve breakfast but it is not an inconvenience, in fact, it is a great advantage as the hotel is surrounded by so many excellent eateries that leaves you spolit for choice.
