The room itself was comfortable, and finding a cab or auto wasn't really a hassle since that's gotten a lot easier over the years. I'd stayed here about four years ago too and had a genuinely great experience back then, clean rooms and bathrooms, prompt service, a warm and attentive manager and staff. That's actually why I booked again, and before arriving I even messaged through Booking.com asking if I could extend my stay by a few hours (happy to pay extra) and about an airport transfer, since the previous manager had told me that could always be arranged.
Unfortunately I never got a reply to that message, which was a bit disappointing before I'd even checked in. The location is also a bit of a letdown, fairly far from Sarnath and the main sights, and it can get noisy, which I noticed a few other reviewers have mentioned too, so I don't think it's just me. The bigger issue though was how much the service has slipped since my last stay. None of the earlier staff were even there anymore, the bathroom wasn't nearly as clean as I remembered, and there was no warmth at all through the stay, no smile, no thank you, not even a "please visit again" at checkout. I ordered breakfast well before checkout and it took almost three hours to show up, only after I called reception three or four times chasing it. By the time it reached my room it was already past 10 and my checkout window had started. It came in cheap ceramic cups and plastic plates too, nothing like what I remembered. Luggage help was inconsistent as well. There are about 5-6 steps between the parking area and reception, and I carried my own bag up myself since nobody offered, staff only helped once I'd finished checking in, using the elevator. Then at checkout, a staff member suddenly rushed over to help for the last couple of steps when I was already almost at the door. To be fair, one of the two receptionists was decent. It was specifically the woman handling checkout who was the problem. The room itself was already paid for through Booking.com at the time of booking, so the only thing pending was the room service bill, just 530 rupees, which I'd paid through UPI. Even so, she asked me twice if I'd actually paid, then wanted proof, and the way she asked felt more like she didn't believe me than like she was just doing her job over such a small amount.
the cleanliness, the staff support, the overall thing
the triple room i booked was on the top floor and when we reached around 6 pm the room felt like a sauna and the AC placement is so odd that it hardly cools the room. We had to shift thanks to available rooms on ground floor and the manager but it was a learning. God forbid if the hotel was full and we had to bear the agony, my family would be severely discomforted.

Hotel Buddha Park is ideally located in a pristine environment away from the buzzing city. Facilities like car parking, gardens, king size room, neat and clean rooms and smiling staff made it an excellent choice for family stay..its pisa vasul :) Keep up the good spirit.
Very well maintained property, friendly staff and decent locality
The service and the hotel owner were very nice and friendly, provided early check-in, on time comfortable transfer, cooker to eat food, which i have brought outside. The bed was comfortable.
