Beautiful room spotless
Beautiful room in great location. I went to a wedding at The Priory so perfect for me. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable
I’d think about putting blind/curtain over the door. The last photo was the room at 5am. I appreciate not everyone is the same but I like a room as dark as possible.
Everything was expected, staff where really good and welcoming.
Nothing
Beautiful clean and newly refurbished rooms, very comfortable and well appointed
Unfortunately we had very noisy people next door that kept us awake from 11.30pm - 3am, the walls are either very thin or the people were very loud! Tried to call the number but as not a hotel no reception so couldn’t ask to be moved, really spoilt our experience. Also the front door needs a screen as the sun came through the window early hours … way too bright … especially after having about 3 hours sleep not what we needed
Very clean.felt like a local.very helpful staff.
Nothing.great stay.
Very comfortable, clean & warm
Nothing
Cleanliness and general comfort.
Shame Breakfast not provided in Pub. Local cafe closed on Sundays.
The room was clean, spacious and very well thought out. Lovely modern interior design. Comfortable bed and the staff were all very friendly. We were attending an event at the pub so the location was excellent. The food at the event was excellent and would definitely recommend eating in the pub The rooms were very secure and felt safe.
It's a shame there wasn't breakfast included onsite but we did got to Dukes as recommended which was nice but obviously an additional cost.
Great location. Pretty village. Very friendly people
Only 1 bus every hour into Clacton on sea
No breakfast available - but my room was beautiful
I would have liked to get breakfast!
Clean and spacious room, with a really comfortable bed.
No curtain at the door which let in a lot of light in the mornings.
Great location and a lovely large room, very clean and large comfortable bed.
Only 1 toilet roll and needed one a 6am. Could do with a shelf in the bathroom and a bin.
Beware of Staying in St Oysth as I tried for 2 hours to get a taxi to take me to a wedding reception nearby. Not the hotels fault. It's Uber who kept cancelling trips.
Great hospitably
First class rooms, very clean
The room was very large. The bed soft and the walk in shower with drench head, excellent.
We stayed 2 days over Christmas. No breakfast provided nor was it available in the village. If the room had a mircowave and worktop with a sink, we could have at least made breakfast.
Beautiful room. clean.
The staff members were patronising and unhelpful. We stayed for 2 nights and in the room we had only 1 toilet roll. we informed the staff and she messaged us she would bring it over. She did not, so we had to go to the shop and buy it. Also the bathroom has no fan and the door has a massive gap so there is no privacy whatsoever. The light doesn't switch off. We contacted the staff " the only way is via message or phone. When asked they kept saying that the light switch was outside the bathroom. Guess what, it is not! We wasted so much time trying to find it. We then figured out ourselves that somewhere there was a sensor, set on over 20 minutes. Also one the staff said he would have called to give us precise info. Guess what?He did not bother. Also there was no bin in the toilet. Not great for people with menstruations. So we had to use one of our bags as a bin bag. Last but not least, the main door is not black, it has transparent glass so sleeping is not easy with the parking lot lights always on and then the sunlight. We had to cover it using our clothes and luggage as the bed faces the door. Also, we booked a cheaper smaller room and after the booking we were told it wasn't actually available and we had to book the more expensive family room instead. A little dodgy and not definitely transparent
bathroom was amazing
at night the light from car park shines though the windows in door and lights up the room a curtain would have been a bonus
