So comfy and clean!

Het was erg schoon en comfortabel. Wel een gebruiksaanwijzing: schoenen laten staan bij de voordeur en door het pand lopen met slofjes, die daar liggen.
De airco had bediening op de gang, dus voor alle gasten tegelijk. Om die reden was het vrij warm in de kamer, waar dat niet had gehoeven.
Really nice place, with lots of facilities and space! The location was good. It was quite far from the city centre, so it took a little while to get downtown (train + bus from the terminus station). Very comfy bed and great room. Great hosts!
Since it is run like a share house, it can get a bit noisy when people are coming or going. The walls and doors are also on the thin side, so can hear neighbours. Not a big deal, just gotta be ready for the possibility of that happening.
I liked that there was laundry facilities available. Also the kitchen was stocked with all that one would need to cook or just to reheat anything. It was a pleasure staying there.
I found it quite warm when we first arrived and it took some time to get the Air Conditioning to catch up and get the room at a comfortalbe tempature. The road work made it hard to enter and exit but not in your control.
The room we got faced the front of the house, it was big and comfortable enough for 1 night. No street noise. A little chilly at night in the early fall (Oct 5), but no complaints. The bathroom was fine. We booked here because we thought we would need to do laundry after a week in the Okanagan.
It is a very impersonal accommodation, which is fine for many people. We had no in-person contact with the host, even though it is a room in a house, not an apartment. Vancouver prices are ridiculously high, more expensive than Tokyo where we flew right after. I would not repeat, but there is nothing wrong with the place, if you are staying for 1 night to be near the airport, which was our case. There is a very simple lock on the room door, I did not feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room while we went out for dinner.
Very quiet and cozy. Literally home away from home. Very happy with location. Also very clean and comfortable. Overall great location for price and beautifully maintained
The blinds were hard to close. So we had to sleep with the blinds half open.
The bathroom jacuzzi didn’t have instructions on how to turn the jets on
The house makes a very good impression when you enter, lovely spacious sitting rooms and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and glasses, also well supplied with tea and coffee. Large fridge with area for each room. Jessica was a good host who took a great pride in the house plants and garden.
Large comfortable bedroom with its own sitting room and small fridge.
Very convenient for airport.
Parking was fairly tight.

L'emplacement très proche de l'aéroport à moins de 15 mn en voiture. Vraiment idéal pour se lever tôt et prendre un avion aux aurores. La maison est tout juste grandiose, deux salons, une immense salle à manger, des chambres très spacieuses, des lits king size très confortables, des salles de bains très bien équipées dont certaines géantes, deux cuisines, dont l'une avec des équipements presque neuf. Bref, on ne s'attendait pas à un confort aussi démonstratif. Le lieu était tout juste magnifique et dépassait largement nos attentes, mais c'était sans compter le loup dans la bergerie...
Nous nous sommes fait très mal recevoir par un chinois qui logeait au rez-de-chaussée. Dès que l'on a posé les bagages dans l'entrée avant de les répartir dans les chambres, il est sortit très en colère et s'est mis à nous engueuler sans raison pour le non respect du lieu. On n'a pas pu utiliser la cuisine, ni la salle à manger, ni le grand salon car on dérangeait le confort de ce locataire longue durée. Dans l'annonce, sur Booking.com, il était nullement indiqué que l'on partageait la maison avec d'autres locataires pointilleux et irascibles. Nous nous sommes repliés à 10 adultes, serrés dans la salle de tv et on s'est fait livrer des pizzas. Très déçu de ne pas pouvoir profiter pleinement et surtout sereinement de cette spacieuse et merveilleuse maison. Lieu à proscrire pour des vacances détendues.
Nous devions partir trop tôt pour l’aeroport
Rien hôte absente à notre arrivée mais nous avait donné les consignes et les codes et demeurait disponible en nous donnant son numéro de cellulaire au besoin
