het ontbijt vrij uitgebreid, prestigekamer met zeezicht en balkon, ruime kamer en rustig, goed restaurant.

Cons:

het hotel is wat aan het verouderen.
het balkon en de tapijten overal zouden een opknapbeurt kunnen gebruiken.

Very comfortable accomodation, good location, generous and good quality breakfast.

Cons:

We arrived by car in the middle of a violent downpour and had an unsmiling, frosty reception. Help with unloading our suitcases from the car was not offered.

Perfect stopover near to Calais port.
Pros:

Courteous, welcoming and helpful front desk. The restaurant offers an intricate, 'amuse-bouchey' dining experience that is quite high-end, but reasonable nonetheless and frequented by the natives. The service in the restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast. Very considerate towards my three dogs.

Cons:

Don't be alarmed by the drive through town which looks run down. The final destination is fine and access to the beach is directly over the road. On settling up, I was held up by a couple—two women in shorts with short hair—who were aggressively causing a scene, arguing about how their vegetables were cooked or some such nonsense and demanding a discount. Although it took some time, the reception handled the case with diplomatic aplomb.
