Tam Coc Mountain Sunset and Garden Hotel

Ha was the most wonderful host during our stay. She clearly takes a huge amount of pride in the hotel and does everything she can to make your stay an amazing one. It's admirable how she makes sure each and every guest is cared for.
The hotel itself is very comfortable, clean and nicely located - close to the action but tucked away slightly which makes for a calmer experience.

Perfect facilities, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Ha was one of a kind, generous and helpful. She truly enhanced our stay and anticipated our need. We are very grateful of what she did for us!

Friendly and welcoming personal

Ha was the most amazing host. She was friendly, spoke very good English and went out of her way to make you welcome and have the best experience. She suggested activities and organised it all for us. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and we ate each night at the family restaurant. The food was good and we felt very welcome. We would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine—the hosts truly made us feel at home. The setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful views that live up to the name. Waking up to the quiet countryside and watching the sunset each evening was unforgettable.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, and the entire property had a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind while still being close to all the main attractions in Tam Coc.

What really made our stay special was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff—they went out of their way to assist with transportation, recommendations, and anything we needed.

The restaurant behind the hotel is so good we ate there twice!

We were lucky enough to spend three nights in this beautiful hotel… we loved every minute! The location is fantastic, close to everything (a very short walk to the centre), but far enough out that it feels tranquil. Clean comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast. The warmth and hospitality from Ha and her staff made this a truly wonderful stay - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

The hostess/manager was exceptional and informative, as well as friendly.
The on-site restaurant had great food options.
Having the option to leave your bags after check out, with a shower before your onwards travel made all the difference.

This hotel deserves the best review thanks to its manager, Ha. You might find hotels in Tam Coc with better breakfast or bigger rooms. However, Ha is such an amazing person and went out of her way to arrange for us a perfect time in the area. Ha provided us with the best tour guide for one day and also told us which tours can be avoided and better be done at our own pace, she recommended restaurants, and address and last minute change in our plans. I can't praise her enough.
Our room has a good size (we ordered the ones with the balcony), very clean, with everything one would expect. The bed was comfortable with a good mattress. Breakfast included both buffet and ordered items such omelette or pancakes.
The hotel is located in a very quiet street, surrounded by rice fields, but it is 3 minutes walk to Tam Coc main square

The host HA is a lovely lady who will go out of her way to make sure you have a wonderful stay!

The room is clean and big. Ms ha is always so helpful, she treated all guests like her own family. Will take time to introduce the diverse Vietnamese breakfast, they do have ALA carte breakfast like egg omelette, pancake , pho if if are not keen on the vietnamese breakfast. This hotel doesn't have a lift and if you are not too mobile you might want to ask for a room which is at 2nd level. The staff are more than happy to help you handle the luggage. My room has only bathtub shower, so if you prefer a standing shower area , you may want to request it , if you have no problem climbing in/out of the bathtub.,then it's fine . They do have bicycle/electric bike rental. Normal bicycle rental is vnd50k per day, you can return bicycle any time .. Ms ha will recommend a local tour to visit 4 main attractions of ninh binh with English speaking local guide , cost vnd 1350k, it covers entrance fee for all attraction , food included, drinks not included . Attractions include haolu ancient city, trang an boat ride(route A), mua cave and Bai Dinh pagoda. Good to go on this tour as the guide will explain the significance of each location.. I was glad Ms ha was always there for me . She intentionally woke up early in the morning for my early departure at 6am, wanting to make some food for me. I ordered a grab to the bus station but because the road is blocked , the grab cldnt come in and am glad Ms ha was around and spoke to the grab driver otherwise I likely won't be able to make it to the grab.
