Great location and great room.

Cons:

Good location, but needed some cleaning attention
Pros:

Location was great. Close to lightrail, ferry (very easy to walk and get the Pyrmont Bay ferry to Circular Quay and onto Manly, even with luggage) and buses. Security on the property was also great, and the host gave impeccable directions to locate it. Great new-ish/well-kept side tables with charging bays for devices. Bathroom was nice and big, and clean. Has a lift to get between floors which helps with luggage. Lots of cupboard space. It's a basic room, no TV, fridge etc (which wasn't expected, but if you are expecting that this isn't the place for you) - but a decent size, decent bed and enough for one person staying for a couple of nights. The building itself (when people aren't coming and going, see below) is well kept and maintained, my room looked over a courtyard with other rooms opposite.

Cons:

The big mat underneath the bed was not clean (they should get rid of it), neither was the material around the bed (it had a material edging to the bed). The sheets etc were clean. Window sills were thick with dust. My room (2) was right underneath the shared kitchen, so you could hear people in there and smell the food (which wasn't a major issue for me). The room was also quite noisy in terms of the lift and locking systems on the doors. The two nights I stayed someone left at 2am-3am both days, so that woke me up. Took me a while to find the switch to work the powered blinds (a label would help this).

Disappointed. Earlier stays were great. Won't stay here again.
Pros:

I like the Location. I liked the price. I liked the comfortable bed and the easy access

Cons:

I have stayed a few other times at this accommodation, and it is getting worse.
My room's lights did not work, and so they have a lamp available. The light switch electronics are exposed and covered with a note saying "Use Lamp"
The walls are getting very scuffed and unclean.
The shower was dirty with visible mould/build up near the drain, it could use a very good clean.

The aircon was a major bug bear. Even setting it to the lowest, it did not effectively cool the room for a hot Sydney summer and there were no fans.

Finally, the use of electronic locks is great for ease of access but they are very loud with people coming and going. Someone always leaves at 5am, loud beep beep beep, and the opening and closing of doors with the electronic locks requires the mechanisms to be very loud. Ergo, I was awoken each morning early and late at night.

Such a lovely place to stay,
Pros:

The person who answers the phone is super helpful and patient which has been amazing, the bed was very comfortable and the other guests were also lovely. It’s a great place to stay with good amenities and buses/light rail going from nearby quite regularly.

Cons:

The shower and walls could be cleaner and there was no toilet paper in the toilet or in the bathroom draw labelled toilet paper.
