Nicely presented hotel with nice lake views and good food
Some staff, mainly at the bar, were sometimes uninterested or lacked friendliness. Some of room / patio could be cleaner. Lots of jet flyovers! £10pp ph for guests to use the pool seems unfair.

Superb staff and very nice location..
Breakfast was very nice. It seemed a bit crowded.
As we stayed during extreme heat air conditioning was required & the fly windows were insufficient. Fan was supplied eased the situation but not sufficient. Duvets also extremely heavy
Room had a beautiful view over the lake but main part of the window should open for ventilation.

No AC in the Rooms and they provided a broken Fan with gives more noice all along the nights couldnt get sleep properly with 5 month old baby.
Very clean. Great front of house service. Lots of parking, beautiful albeit isolated location. Breakfast was plentiful.
No air con in the room. Dinner wasn't anything to shout about. No amenities nearby (the next restaurant had an almost identical menu)
Restaurant and boat house both closed the evening of our stay. Had to eat in the bar and it was unfortunately only mediocre

We had a balcony, unfortunately wasn’t pleasant outside due to large amounts of bird poop.
Whilst we understand the nature of where we were, the amount of bird poop and how long it must have been there was unacceptable.
Such a shame because the room we had was spotless..
Just a shame that as much pride is not taken of the outside.
Maybe once a week a full blast down and wipe down of balconies as they were disgustingly.
Because of this our balcony was unused!
Also on our second day The Boathouse & The Brassiere were closed because of convention…
Maybe inform normal visitors of this beforehand!

Breakfast was excellent choice
We had booked a table at the Old Boat House for my birthday family lunch. I was asked to give menu choices and then they changed the menu at short notice.
Also the Boathouse had specified a time we would have at the table yet they took an hour before actually bringing any food out. Knowing we had children as menu choice had been made including children's portions the time lapse was poor.
Good value, comfortable bed, great breakfast
No air-conditioning, asked for bed to be split to twin beds but no one came and got too late to ask again.
This was the second time we had stayed at this hotel and it has maintained the high standards from our last stay. I requested a lake facing room as well as a fan in the room as it was so hot during our stay and this was arranged without any problems. We will definitely stay again should we be in the area. Great service and great Hotel!
Leaving the hotel after such a wonderful stay. We did not use all the facilities on offer like the Spa but we were only there for a couple of nights, so no real opportunity to experience that part of the hotel.
