It was at the center of everything. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants.

The staff. Front desk were incompetent. Room change at the last minute without notification made the stay worse for my family, unable to recommend a restaurant for lunch (claimed the whole town was closed at noon?!) or for breakfast. Google saved the day of course but…these are basic front desk expectations. Booked an English-speaking horseback tour for $100/person via the desk…guide spoke no English. Not even a “sorry” for any of the above.

The jacuzzi wasn't hot and its heating system broke the next the so we couldn't use it at all. The staff did all they can to help us though.
I couldn't assist to my reservation due to a medical emergency. I talked to Álvaro Sánchez and Marisol (staff) to request a cancellation without fee which they kindly agree (just by phone). After several phone calls requesting an email or a message, the only requirement that booking.com was asking me, they simply charge the full amount of the stay and I lost my money and my time. Don't trust them

This is the standard throughout tepoztlan and not really a negative of the hotel, but wifi is not high speed. something to consider if you’re planing to be working remotely
