Location is spectacular if you want to see the mountains. Great and friendly staff, very accessible to the village and train station if you need to go somewhere or get something.
No AC or fan, really hard to sleep at night in hot room. There’s also no window screen so leaving the window open at night is creates a hazard for bugs.
Close to the Train station, but the location of the hotel is located on a hill, which need to go uphill to get to the hotel. Not too convenient if you need to carry a big luggage. But overall the location is great.
The e hotel is comfy and nice.
Good breakfast too.
The room is a bit small, but still can accept.

酒店风景特别好，阳台上就可以看到三座山峰和梦幻山坡，超过了绝大多数景观餐厅。早餐面包好吃，咖啡好喝，而且提供无糖酸奶，控糖爱好者开心。距离火车站很近。房间虽小，但是设计合理，洗头，晾衣服都很方便，阳台有晾衣架。房间没有空调，但是晚上睡觉不热很舒服。
早餐种类不够丰富，卫生间有点小，房间隔音一般，但是不影响晚上睡觉，因为大家都睡的很早。

Bit of a steep walk to the hotel from the train station, but worth it for the location and view!!
Staff is super friendly, everything was really nice. We enjoyed the breakfast. The view from the breakfast area is breathtaking! The location near the train station was great for hiking! It made it easy to catch the early trains.
Our room got somewhat hot. A fan would have been appreciated.

Situation un peu au-dessus de la gare et de l'arrêt des bus en partie gratuits (env.100m), loin du bruit, avec une vue magnifique, ne manquez pas cet hôtel de taille modeste où vous aurez un contact direct et chaleureux avec le couple propriétaire. Ce chalet typique à l'intérieur rénové magnifiquement vous satisfera par sa décoration et son aménagement à la fois simple, efficace et élégant. Vous pourrez également profiter d'un espace bien être au top.

Great location: Minutes to Grindelwald train and bus station. 15min walk to First Cable car station. Visitor card grants free ride on bus 121-123, connecting Grindelwald Terminal station. Supermarket is also within 5min walk.
Tips to travellers: it’s on a small hill (3-4min with luggage) and no lift in the house, so bring manageable luggage. However because of this it has a better view and is quiet at night to ensure good sleep.
I had a room with a balcony that’s facing the Eiger peak and a lovely garden. Room has great shower water, and shades to keep the heat out during summer. In late June, it’s refreshing to wake up to a good view and seeing sunshine scatter across mountains.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice with varieties of food and view of the mountains.
For tax below 50, prepare cash in CHF (ATM is close too)

You HAVE to book the mountain view room. It’s an absolute once-in-a-lifetime experience!
The ground-floor rooms lack privacy if there are people hanging around just outside the yard.
