Shamalay - Nomad Experience

After my arrival I really liked the way this accommodation was looking. Tents nicely organized in between of tropical flora. Also the staff was great and friendly. But there it ended for me. I expected "nomad" atmosphere, calm, clean and kinda spiritual place. For young couples who would like to spend their night drinking in the nearby restaurant with a loud music till 1am, it's OK place to be. Unfortunately I was looking for a relaxing time and I was disappointed.

La majorité des chambres sont en tente mais tentes de luxe avec lit grand et confortable, tables et lampes de chevet et portant. Clim (pas très écologique car trop de perdition) et ventilo à dispo.
Grande cuisine et frigo à disposition.
Toilette et WC en commun mais tout est très propre.

Emplacement idéal, cadre magnifique.
Les conseils de Dienna sont en or, vous pouvez les suivre les yeux fermés.

Een super mooie, schone en knusse glamping. Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht door Athina en kregen we een rondleiding. Alles was superduidelijk en goed geregeld. Het verblijf, de tent, heeft alles wat het nodig heeft en is erg schoon. Ook de sanitaire voorzieningen is niets op aan te merken.

Ce Glamping est original dans un très joli jardin à l’entrée de la ville de Bacalar : 15 mn à pied du centre ville

La cadre est vraiment sympa et l’hôtel est très bien entretenu.

La nature en ville : des habitats nomades très bien équipés, les sanitaires impeccables, la cuisine partagée très fonctionnelle, le jardin luxuriant avec ses écureuils, oiseaux, chauve-souris, avocats…..

I loved everything about Shamalay. The tents are spacious and clean, there have a portable AC, which isn't common in this type of accomodation, there is an extra blankets for cold nights, lights, shelves and even a space to hang your clothes. The bed was big and comfortable. The toilets and showers were always clean and there was hot water. The kitchen is clean, the pots and pans are in great condition, same thing for the silverware, plates and glasses. The fridge has a storage system so the guests food doesn't get mixed up and they offer beverages and snacks at an affordable price. The pool was always clean and there are chairs to lay down and relax. The owners were super friendly and helpful and they recommended excursions and massages at good prices. Everything looks EXACTLY like the pictures, can't be disappointed. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser kleinen, liebevoll gestalteten Hotelanlage mit Glamping-Zelten in Bacalar. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr gepflegt und strahlte eine entspannte, persönliche Atmosphäre aus.

Besonders schön war die süße Rundführung zu Beginn durch eine Mitarbeiterin, die sich viel Zeit genommen hat und jederzeit für Fragen ansprechbar war. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Praktisch und angenehm war auch, dass wir die Küche nutzen konnten und uns Getränke sowie Kleinigkeiten auf Vertrauensbasis aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen durften – ein tolles Konzept. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal, das Zentrum ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Chaque recoin est Instagrammable tellement chaque détail est parfait.

Dienne a pensé à tout, avec des petites attentions partout, une communication excellente et plein de mons plans dans les environs.

La végétation est magnifique, le confort 5 étoiles (lit super large, matelas à mémoire de forme, prises usb dans le cadre de lit), les espaces communs d’une propreté impeccable.

Presque envie d’y passer la journée au lieu de visiter la lagune!!

Et le top, c’est de pouvoir soutenir une entrepreneuse indépendante!! Allez-y les yeux fermés, mais seulement si vous êtes sympas!!🤣

Le lieu est bien aménagé, avec goût et propre ; les propriétaires sont accueillantes.

Wunderbare Unterkunft mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Super nette und freundliche Besitzerin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren insgesamt vier Nächte!

J'ai passé un magnifique séjour à Shamalay.
Le lieu a quelque chose de magique... l'impression d'être dans une forêt tropicale tout en étant à proximité du lagon, des restaurants et des commerces. Les hôtesses sont adorables et le livret avec leurs recommandations est super pratique! Le Glamping est très bien entretenu et très propre (nettoyage quotidien). C'est déjà la quatrième fois que j'y viens et je compte bien revenir.
