Wonderful stay!
Pros:

Beautiful property and friendly staff. Restaurant was very good. Wonderful views of the lake.

Cons:

Nothing stands out. The weather could have been better, but what can you do 🤷

The location was amazing, the pool with the Lake Arenal’s view was priceless.

La gentillesse du personnel et les piscines, dont une chaude, face au lac

Cons:

Petit déjeuner très moyen, la villa 2 chambres avec une belle vue sur le lac mais très mal agencée avec les douches dans un couloir où tout le monde peut voir.

Un posto eccellente, in posizione strategica per La Fortuna, lontano dal caos.
Pros:

L'hotel é direttamente sul lago, con una vista spettacolare e un giardino curato e accogliente. La piscina è grande e c'è anche quella con l'acqua riscaldata. La privacy delle villette private é fantastica. Le case sono complete di tutti i confort in uno stile tradizionale di grande gusto, molto piu bello che in foto. A completare il tutto un ristorante ottimo, e il personale sempre disponibile e gentile.

Relaxing and beautiful, authentic and accommodating.
Pros:

We first booked this place for our Costa Rica trip in 2020, then had to cancel when Covid struck. Six years later I'm happy we were finally able to make it. The villas were quaint and well-appointed, the staff was friendly, and the views across the lake were stunning. We were able to ride horses in the surrounding hills, and they were helpful with arranging our transportation into La Fortuna for other activities.

Cons:

It is further away from La Fortuna than I realized; that would be the only reason not to stay here. It was quite pricey to get into town.

We really wanted to like this place…
Pros:

Good dinner and nice breakfast. Friendly staff and most amazing view of lake Arenal.

Cons:

The whole place needs a revamp as it feels and looks really dated and need a proper cleaning.
The pool water was in need of change.
The 2 room villa, while of good size, has an awkward set up, with the second bedroom hidden behind a bathroom. We only had cold water in the shower.
Our villa smelled of damp and what was worse it was full of cockroaches in bedrooms and bathroom.
We cannot understand how this place claims to be a 4 star hotel.

Piekny wewnetrzy ogrod - lataly do okola kolibry. POszlismy wieczorem do knajpy przy hotelu na kolacje - byla sredniej jakosci: troche moim zdaniem odmrozone owoce morza. ALe sniadanie bylo bardzo dobrej jakosci.
