Pros:

We had a nice stay. The owner organized safari for us and it was wonderful. We had an amazing and experienced driver, we got really lucky and saw 3 leopards, 5 elephants, a crocodile, monkeys, buffolos and many more.
The room was nice and clean. We had breakfast and dinner at the property and it was local and tasty.

Plus que parfait, le patron très sympathique et très attentionné 🤗
Il nous a fait des visites merveilleuses et nous a organisé le Safari au départ de l'hôtel où nous avons vu, léopards , buffles, éléphants, crocodiles, aigle.....Il nous a préparé les meilleurs repas du Sri-Lanka 🥰😍 Je recommande vraiment ce logement à l'esprit très familial.

Perfect stay, and had amazing safari organised
Pros:

Nice room with comfy bed and a clean (!) bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner who organised the Yala jeep safari which turned out to be amazing. I forgot to organise an early morning Tuktuk to the bus station when checking out, so the owner very kindly drive me to it at 5am, which is just so above and beyond expectations. Thank you. I stayed two nights and would highly recommend and would go back any time.

Pros:

The safari they arranged for me was super nice as the drivers brought us to see the most animals and got use the best spots

Cons:

The additional fee was added to the final bill which is not listed in Booking. I found out after I left the property.

L'host molto gentile e disponibile. Dopo il safari ci ha accompagnato in auto alla stazione dei bus.

Ci ha messo in una stanza migliore rispetto a quella prenotata
Bella la terrazza.

Cons:

Il bagno era pieno di formichine morte.
L'acqua calda non funzionava troppo bene.

Due nonne in viaggio. Purtroppo appena arrivata a Owin rose mi sono procurata una distorsione al piede, ma il gestore è stato super gentile e mi ha aiutata in tutto. Ci ha poi prenotato il safari e l'auto per spostarci a tangalle a prezzi competitivi. Raccomandato

Ogólnie jako punkt noclegowy znośny, ale czystość i sam hotel pozostawia dużo do życzenia. Brak kołdry (wprawdzie częsty w hotelach na Sri Lance), samo prześcieradło do przykrycia, na moim łóżku powitał mnie rój małych mrówek faraona.... Na korytarzu pełno insektów. Dobrze, że to tylko 1 noc i wszyscy byli zmęczeni, inaczej trudno byłoby zasnąć.

Se avessi potuto dare un punteggio più alto lo avrei fatto!
Sin dal primo momento mi sono sentito a casa, il gestore si è messo a disposizione con tutta la famiglia per far si che la mia esperienza fosse ottimale e ci sono riusciti. Prezzi per il safari più che ragionevoli e mi ha anche aiutato a trovare un passaggio alla prossima metà con sconto sulla tratta.
Davvero un peccato non soggiornare qui se ne avete la possibilità.
Continuate così Owin Rose! Siete i migliori!

Pros:

The room was nice. Please read the room description (cheaper rooms do not have air conditioning, as clearly explained on Booking.com). Our room had a terrace with a nice view of the rice fields. Even before arriving, we had received a proposal from the owner regarding the safari tour. In the end, we were satisfied with the tour that was proposed.

Cons:

The owner (as probably all owners of other hotels in the area) is very pushy about offering safari services immediately upon arrival. In the end, I really liked his tour, but I would have preferred a more balanced approach, especially after a long trip.
