WiFi is unreliable

Deux points qui nous ont déçu, nous avions payé un supplément pour avoir une vue directe sur la piscine et nous avions une vue directe sur la réception donc aucune intimité, problème qui a été résolu en insistant, en plus de la salle de bain qui n’était pas terrible, mauvaise odeur. Hormis tout cela, je recommande!

Nothing to complain

We rented a scooter for one day and received two helmets, with instructions only to park in the shared parking area (the parking area was shared between this hostel and an adjacent hostel, and as such the security too will be borne between the operating parties of the parking area). Upon returning in the evening, we placed the helmets on the side mirrors, as we were not advised otherwise. The next day, we were informed that one helmet was missing and were immediately charged for it. We requested to review the CCTV footage to confirm that we had returned with both helmets, however they kept mentioning that the CCTV footage does not face the parking area which should be poor management on their side.

The management insisted on holding us responsible, despite our insistence that the hostel's security should cover any incidents in their controlled area. When we questioned the CCTV view, the staff suggested a lack of evidence meant we were still at fault. The manager also said that they have our identities and threatened to use them as they wish (in a very vague manner), which is very concerning in terms of treating guests.

Ultimately, we were charged 200,000 rupiah. The anxiety of the event and being accused of stealing helmets was truly disappointing, in comparison to being charged 200,000, to what was meant to be a relaxing holiday. Additionally, the manager was quite rude at the end of the conversation.

Our concerns extend to the hostel's overall safety, as it appears there is also a public gojek driver's resting area and people seem to be going in and out of the place frequently. So it brings the question of how any loss would be pinned on the guests when the security is very questionable. Overall, we believe no guest should have to endure such an experience.

Few issues with the WiFi in the furthest biggest room, the air-conditioning could be a little bit better but apart from that it's definitely worth the money.
