Pros:

The breakfast at the Spanish fusion restaurant is INCREDIBLE. The rooms are large and cozy, the hotel is beautifully decorated, absolutely no complaints.

Cons:

There were some hiccups from a service perspective, but after speaking with the general manager Hassan, he personally saw it that everything was corrected. I appreciate that they did everything to remedy the situation and provide an unforgettable experience.

Pros:

The location, the facilities and the staff were amazing and reception staff very helpful. They even arrange the car rental and try to accommodate all our needs. The F&B is out of this world both dinner and especially breakfast that was the best non buffet breakfast we have ever experienced. Please keep it that way!

Cons:

Although we understand that the concept is part of the experience, the rooms are exceptionally dark which makes everything difficult. The check in and room delivery should be cut shorter since it took too long, specially we arrive around 20h

ALUla è un posto eccezionale da visitare ed il Dandora è il posto migliore per gustarla

Posizione eccezionale praticamente nella città vecchia (patrimonio dell'Unesco), struttura eccezionale come il resto della città vecchia, "stanze" stupende in stile originale ma con tutti i confort, illuminazione serale solo con candele (migliaia) ma con elettricità (discreta) dove serve. Servizio perfetto, sempre disponibili ed efficienti (avevamo prenotato con un agenzia on line un tour con autista che non si è presentato), in mezzora ci hanno accompagnato al Centro visitatori a prenotare gli ingressi ai siti storici (eccezionali) e procurato una macchina con autista parlante inglese. Cucina superba con assaggi di antipasti locali offerti e prezzi molto bassi. Alla sera è uno spettacolo eccezionale. Se andrete ad ALUla dovete andarci.

A wonderful heritage experience with exquisite food and lovely staff.
Pros:

Our entire experience at the Dar Tantora was absolutely superb. It is a unique hotel in terms of its setting and a real heritage experience. However what really makes it exceptional is the amazing food and service to match.

We really appreciated how eco-friendly the property is and the effort put into creating a sustainable environment. The hotel is also aesthetically beautiful, with a unique design that blends nature, history, and architecture in a very elegant way. The overall atmosphere feels peaceful, authentic, and thoughtfully created.

Cons:

What we did not particularly enjoy was our interaction with the Guest Relations representative. The way our concern was handled did not reflect the level of attentiveness and professionalism we would expect from a hotel of this standard. From our travel experience, guest relations should feel welcoming, proactive, and solution-oriented, which unfortunately was not the case during our stay.
