The lovely staff really made me feel welcome. The room was spectacular and the breakfast was perfect. I had the most amazing stay.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but if I had to write something down it would probably be that the restaurant wasn’t open for evening meals on the night I stayed but I didn’t realise it was closed on Tuesdays.

The location was stunning and the room was lovely. Super comfy bed.
The chap who served me in the evening and organised the breakfast was excellent, especially given the whole place was in full wedding prep for the next day.
I had a continental breakfast in my room due to an early start and was given a lovely platter of goodies (diet begins tomorrow!).
My only feedback would be that instant coffee sachets in the room and no tea variants eg herbal teas felt at odds with the upper tier room. I think that at least coffee bags and some herbal teas would be good.
Also, just a note for housekeeping, there was no mattress topper which I would say is important in a hotel, and the duvet case did not fit the duvet so it only went half way down the bed.

Beautiful decor; the room we stayed in was comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were professional and friendly.
Just that the property is situated a distance from local amenities. We are certainly not complaining though!

The Hotel is a lovely old building, well decorated and bedrooms are lovely and bathrooms excellent.
Unfortunately I would say the hotel is primarily a wedding venue and not set up for guests Mon - Thursday. 2 main issues nobody around and bar / lounge areas closed from between 8/9pm. The breakfast is only available between 8.30am and 10am. The reality being that after ordering the breakfast is only available 8.45am onwards. All this is far too late for anybody staying and working in the area. This needs to change.
