It was horrible the worst hotel which I ever rented in New York.
Holes on blankets, cigarette smells everywhere, broken thing, thin walls and thain across the road because of that it was so loud.
The only thing that would have been good if it hadn't been such a terrible and stressful time was the price. It's not worth it. Pay more and get a better place to stay.
The hotel has a flight of stairs that go down underneath the street level to get to the front office. It was shady and scary. The office itself is surrounded by plexiglass if that tells you anything. Nothing worked. All of the vending machines that were located in the lobby were out of order. No place to sit in the front office area except a hard bench right beside the door. You can hear absolutely from the other rooms in all of the rooms. I changed rooms and it was the same. The hotel is right beside the train tracks so a train goes by every few minutes and literally shake the building.
Nice elevator
Too much traffic on third floor
Nothing
The sheets were disgusting, the towels were dingy, there was NO PARKING… The streets are filled !!! The tv was damaged, the remote was barely hanging on, the sink was a water fountain. I cannot make this up. It was really bad ! Then got the nerve to be worried about smoking with burns in the comforters !
Hotel was very noisy, including hotel staff pushing cleaning carts and speaking loudly at random times at night. Hotel staff was not attentive.
Nothing.
The room was run down. The marble floor had stains which made it look dirty. Didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot. The bed squeaked and the bedding was questionable. The towels in the bathroom were sketchy and closer to yellow than white. Not sure how this place gets positive reviews. I’m disappointed to have spent hotel prices at a basic motel.
We liked NOTHING.
Reception staff upon arrival and departure (different people) were unsmiling, unwelcoming, indifferent, and unprepared to provide basic information. I’m a New Yorker. Staff had no knowledge of Arthur Avenue. Killed a bug on first entering bathroom. Mismatched sheets had cigarette burns. Towels, also mismatched. No washcloths. Only one hand towel for two people. Odor of marijuana prevailed. No parking but for street or unvalidated garage. Old, tattered bedspread, “dead” pillows. Cracked flooring. Peeling wallpaper. Faucets not secured to sink! No nightstands and no way to turn room light on and off from bed. Metro train noise all night long. We didn’t need vending machine, but it was almost empty. DON’T STAY HERE.
I liked staff , they helped us to park the car outside
It was not enough clean the room and the price too high , on the blanket was two holes, floor durty
Nothing.
Walked in and saw two cockroaches right off the rip, In the lobby as I was about to check in. Didn't check in and they still charged me and then played games with booking.com so now I have to dispute it with my credit card company. The pictures that they have online are fake and don't look like the actual Hotel. It smells like fabuloso and weed.
Unsafe neighborhood for persons unfamiliar with location
I booked this for a client and immediately after booking my client said he no longer needed the room. I immediately called Expedia, who called the hotel, and they refused to cancel the booking. When I asked if we could change it to the following evening, the woman I spoke with hung up on me.
Great
Like A Cute Overpriced Dorm Room
The pillows were dirty had no pillow case when I checked in. There were cigarettes holes in the comforter, requested for it to be change and the house keeper only change the sheets. The staff was on the overnight shift and had a nasty attitude towards us when we tried to explain the situation. When I checked out she didn’t gave me an invoice or receipt for checking out. The passage was loud music coming from other room. Worst experience ever. Will never recommend or go back to that place.
People there are not honest. What they put online, it is not what you see
No parking space at all.
