Location is idyllic and just a short walk for dinner to the Inn on the Loch
Comfortable and luxurious - nice touches like the Arran Arromatics toiletries and the coffee machine! Lovely view and very peaceful.
It was slightly remote - perfect to unwind and relax but a little tricky to explore in bad weather though there are 2 hotels nearby and shops/cafes in Luss. We hoped to have a patio door but our room had a large window though the other seaview room did have a patio door.
The location was good
The accommodation is very tired and the building smells stale, like an old pub smell.
Stayed at the beach house, away from main hotel. Large, modern bedroom and bathroom. Very good for the price.
The room was wonderful. It was exactly as the listing described it. The bathroom was spacious and well set up the view was wonderful.The bed was comfortable and the restaurant at the main hotel is delicious.
The only 2 issues I ran into were the window for that beautiful bathtub looks out over a walking trail and you're visible to everybody.
The second problem is it's all stairs, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down those stairs to get to the room.There's no elevator.
The location is stunning, right on the shore of Loch Lomond.
The bed was pretty big and comfortable.
It isn’t very clean, dirty walls, carpet smelly, feels tired inside. Lack of effort on cleanliness summed up by a dead spider just left on the walls of the staircase.
Your arrival is through what seems like a staff entrance into a grubby corridor, not very special! And that’s after checking in at the main hotel three miles away. It’s all very strange.
You are very much right next to a fast, main road, so despite the nature and views of the loch, there aren’t really any nice peaceful walks you can do from the house and the noise of traffic is always there in your room.
The insulation in the house is a joke - you can hear everything of every other room. We had guests chatting and playing music until the early hours and despite it not being very loud, it kept us awake. Not what you expect in a four star hotel which cost us £275 a night with no breakfast!
Main meals are served in the Inn across the road, dinner there was decent but to have no breakfast included at the price we paid is madness.

It was an expensive place very clean but worth it for the view and the bath alone...just being picky but maintenance at the price is a must just small things but peeling wallpaper and chipped paint just spoiled the perfection ...not everyone wants a free one hour use of steam room etc would rather have a breakfast my preference though...all in all loved it x

Il beach house è un distaccamento della struttura principale distante un paio di chilometri non percorribili a piedi.la struttura è priva di personale sul posto. Per qualsiasi cosa bisogna prendere l'auto in quanto anche la posizione è priva di ogni servizio.
