quick stay for few nites
Recently stayed at Grand Madurai Hotel, and it truly exceeded expectations. The location is incredibly convenient—perfectly situated for exploring the city’s temples, markets, and transport hubs. Whether you’re heading to Meenakshi Temple or catching a train, everything feels just minutes away.
What really stood out was the reception staff. Warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, they made check-in smooth and were always ready with local tips and assistance. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay feel special.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Overall, Grand Madurai offers a great blend of accessibility, comfort, and service—ideal for both leisure and business travelers.

The hotel is a bit away from the city, but an excellent facility. The inconsistency in service levels is why I hsve rated them 4. The day i checked out there was a local politician I believe and about 7 to 10 supporters who were having breakfast. While there were 5 to 7 restaurant staff assisting them and taking photographs with them, other guests were pretty much ignored. Great service from Chris at the front end and Mohan (during dinner one of the evenings). Very poor and arrogant service (including talking with food in the mouth) by the gentleman at checkout and the reataurant captain i believe. Positive experience but clouded by the inconsistency.

Very satisfying stay. Very clean and beautiful facility. Cheerful staff deliver excellent service. Spacious room even for a family of 3 adults. Very spacious and modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast. A La Carte Lunch and in-room dinner were quite good. Food prices are on the expensive side but comparable to that of similar hotels. Basement parking for private cars. All in all, a great experience. Probably the best option in Madurai. Highly recommended.

En helt fantastisk vistelse. Efter långa arbetsdagar var det mycket uppmuntrande att på kvällen besöka restaurangen med bra service och därefter få sova ut i mycket tysta och komfortabla rum.
