A very good place to stay in Thanjavur
Pros:

A good-size and comfortable room, good working shower with plenty of hot water, helpful staff at the reception. Parking on site was available for our car and close enough to the sites we wished to visit. A good stay in a safe and clean hotel. We would recommend Philomena Hotel and Apartment to travelers visiting Thanjavur. The distance to the main temple site in Thanjavur was not an issue for us as we had a car and driver during our stay. Having said that, I'm sure that other means of transportation to visit the local sites would not be expensive.

I would love to stay there again. I will strongly recommend this to my friends.
Pros:

I left at 6 a.m., so did not have the breakfast.
There is a lot of traffic on the main road but the location is excellent.
There's a supermarket next door, a bakery and Sri Krishna Bhavan just across the road.

Cons:

No.kettle/ tea or coffee sachets in the room.
But the staff immediately gave me a kettle.

Very poor maintenance. Fan regulator not working, broken health faucet, airconditioner not cooling effectively. No food and beverage service. No kettle or tea/coffee arrangement in room. Pathetic complimentary breakfast and no coffee served with breakfast. Will definitely not recommend this property to anyone

Excellent hotel, value for money. Good location. Staffs are very polite.

I liked everything, from cleanliness to services. All are excellent. Front desk staffs are so polite and they are very happy to give good services to you.

It wasn’t that cheep price it was normal fair but the room standards weren’t to the value of the money.
Pros:

24 hours of security and someone at the reception was available all the time. Few of the staffs very friendly. Location of this place is very convenient. Very close to railway station.

Cons:

The rooms were very dirty. It was not clean at all. Some staffs very very rude. None of the sockets were working so I struggled to charge my devices throughout the stay. It wasn’t that cheep price it was normal fair but the room standards weren’t to the value of the money.
