Muy Bueno !!!
Pros:

La habitación es muy confortable y completa. La ubicación es excelente.

One night stay
Pros:

Large room, clean and seemed ok. Sleep was different, kept waking up and scratching, in the morning I could see I was covered in bites. Not bed bugs, more like mosquito bites. Showed reception on leaving and they said the room would be closed off and treated. Hopefully they did.

Cons:

The bites, so, so itchy.

excellent hotel
Pros:

The room was literally on the water. You opened the window and you could feel the water! Quiet, warm, while the hotel was next to the center.

The staff at the reception were rude, without even saying good morning.

Great place to stay in the heart of Gent
Pros:

Great location just off one of the main squares - quiet but central. The room was clean, bed comfy. A decent sized bathroom with excellent shower. The staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it was soooo expensive (£25 per person) - but there are plenty of places to eat nearby at very reasonable prices e.g. LLoyds.

Cons:

Our room was on the ground floor right next to the canal and felt very cold even though the thermostat read 20C.
When we mentioned it to the staff they brought us a heater straight away which improved things. Another small issue, the toilet was a bit cramped considering the size of the bathroom.
Also, there were building works going on next door which spoilt the look of the area a bit, but we didn't notice much noise so not too bad.
