Atrocious. Like I said never found the place and so I never spent the night.
Cons:

Host was extremely unresponsive when I attempted to reach out to then via WhatsApp Text or phone call.

I was never able to find the location. The listed location put me in front of a Hanoi hair salon at 11:30 pm at night. Door was open but nobody answered from within. I am not about to enter someone’s place of business at night, climb dark stairs and be suspected of robbing the place. Host was unable to be reached via WA either text or voice.

If you’re going to host you need to respond when your clients need assistance.

Basic comfort
Pros:

Walking distance to the Old Quarter. Spacious room, resoonsive staff, there is an elevator

Cons:

This is more of a homestay than hotel. Located in a small alley, which is an issue if your luggage cannot be dragged. Also, quite noisy from early morning. The rooms looks much nicer and cozy than in reality.

Pros:

Location is little far from city center and road is narrow to reach here. But rooms are spacious, full of all the amenities, staff is good, views from 6th floor was just amazing, away from city traffic, close to Hanoi railway station. Type light house and rooftop to reach here

Pros:

Large room . Good Wi-Fi. Comfortable bed. The lady at the reception was very helpful. We left our language for 2 days while we visited SaPa. Quiet. The location is close to a nice vegetarian restaurant. .Fruits selling very close.. tren station walking distance. We liked it. The room has everything you need ,even iron.
