Hotel Atlantis Machida -Adult Only

Starting off, the check in process was very confusing. There is no clear direction, both from the online booking and once you actually get to the hotel. The lobby is very crowded and a maze, and there isn’t anyone there to actually guide you once you get there. The room itself wasn’t bad, however the shower room had a horrible smell, especially if you attempt to use the tub. You also don’t get a key to the room itself, so if you’re planning on going anywhere after you get to the hotel you won’t be able to lock the door when you leave. So far this has been the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Japan.

フロントにスタッフがおらず電話も繋がらず10分ほど放置されました。ルームオーダー用のタブレットも前宿泊者の注文履歴が残っていて無料の物の注文もできずフロントに電話を掛けなきゃいけなくて面倒でした。朝食も時間予約したにも関わらずメモを忘れていたとのことでこちらから電話してやっと届きました。
浴室も下水臭く不快でした。とにかくよくこれで奉仕料として10%も請求できるなと思うようなホテルでした。二度と利用しないと思います。

問題は有りません。

Main one is the rooms DO NOT LOCK upon leaving. You do not get a key and can only lock this room when you are in it. Wasn’t an issue for us as we weren’t too bothered with it being just one night but this is not the hotel for a long stay given the type of hotel it is.
Dropped something behind the bed and upon retrieving it were greeted with what seemed like 999 couples left over used “socks” if you get what I mean. It’s a love hotel so is expected.
The coffee table had live fish in it and I felt a bit bad for them. No filter or food or any light for them.

部屋の清潔感がない。
モーニングの説明がなかったり、ビデオのリモコンが切れていたり、汚いところがあったりとちゃんとスタッフが確認して対処していれば済むことが多かったので客への配慮がないホテルだと感じた

Check-in process was a bit painful because I think locals use the automatic check in process, so there's no actual front desk. After calling, someone came to help with checking and make sure to mention you booked via third party as that seems to make things much easier.

The room I was in was smoking-friendly but the smoke air filtration was not turned on before I checked in so it was smoky. After I turned it on and ran it for few hours, it was all good 👍
