Great Celebration
Pros:

The room was spacious with a lovely design making use of a mezzanine style layout. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was great and the view over the countryside was lovely.

We also enjoyed the amazing restaurant as part of a birthday celebration and thought that the food was excellent, the setting fabulous and the staff were all amazing.

Hotel rooms nice. New Year food was OK.. treatment of our well behaved party of 9 very poor
Pros:

The rooms( we booked the junior accessible suite and a usual room) both were good.

Cons:

We were a large party of 9 having New Years Eve meal there with the party also booking two rooms. We were advised not to take up space in the lounge when the piper was coming in to bring in the bells as our party was too large. This was rather annoying to say the least since we’d all had dinner and taken on a suite and double room. We retired to our rooms and returned just in time for the piper when my 88 year old mother had to stand because we hadn’t been permitted to sit in the lounge! Not great customer service

A fabulous restaurant with rooms. Perfect for a special occasion!
Pros:

A beautiful room, decorated beautifully. All the amenities you would need. Enjoyed a wonderful continental breakfast in the room.

Pros:

You come for the food which is outstanding with so much attention to detail. Great range of wines. Attentive yet relaxed service

Quiet setting for bedrooms

Cons:

Nice functional bedroom suite with some lovely textiles but decor a little plain with plain walls and carpet.
Lounge bar in restaurant is more homely in comparison.
