Well, the room was really lovely and spacious. Location was great, close to OVO Hydro, which was our main interest.
The lack of hump pillows.
Nice big room altho downstairs. Lovely breakfast. Good location for Hydro and bus service into city centre
There was a smell from shower and when flushing loo it made a loud noise which wasn’t handy thru the night
Handy for both the city centre and the west end.
Great communication from the hotel from the moment we booked, and a warm welcome from the receptionist when we arrived and a very quick check in. The hotel is in a perfect location for getting into the centre of Glasgow with a bus stop almost directly outside the front door. We were in the basement with windows that looked up towards the street , but the room was a good size and a very comfy bed. Slept really well and could not hear any noise from outside . It was great value for money for an overnight stay in Glasgow.
Only downsize was the bathroom. The door was in a very odd position, right by the side of the bed which meant if you slept on the right hand side you did not have a side unit. The bathroom was very small and the corner shower unit was tiny , if you turned around it was very easy to knock the temperature handle of the shower . However it was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. Be aware ( I guess because it is in the basement) it has a maserator toilet so it does make a lot of noise for a few seconds when you flush it .
Excellent location in West End, close to great independent cafes, restaurants and shops. Great public transport links close by to city centre. Short walk to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and yards from the park. Room was spotlessly clean. Great, warm welcome from Joe on reception.
The room felt a little chilly even with radiator on.
Location of the hotel. Walking distance to the center of town access to shops restaurants etc
The shower was too small
The location was brilliant. Travelling on my own, I was made to feel really welcome. I got an upgrade on my room which was fabulous. Plenty tea and a very comfy sleep. Ryan the Duty Manager was wonderful. I'd had a rubbish morning but felt much better when I got to Glasgow and checked in.
That I couldn't stay longer.... Ha ha
Location was amazing. Cool eating spots nearby, cool district, and staff was so gentle. Good price
The bathroom tubes were a little bit noisy, mostly if somebody go to the bathroom during the night. Overall it’s was not a big deal! :)
We arrived at 0830 and wanted to just drop our bags off. Joe (on reception) offered us a spare room so we could have an hours lie in the bed as we left home at 0330. Very nice of him and he made us feel very welcome. The area is really nice part of Glasgow. Beds were very comfy.
