Schönes kleines Landhotel, für einen Kurzurlaub, um die schöne Gegend um Alfhausen zu erkunden.
Pros:

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist gut. Jeder kann damit glücklich werden. Eierspeisen gibt es frisch zubereitet. Der Kaffee ist ebenfalls frisch.
Das Hotel und die Gastronomie sind renoviert und modernisiert und angenehm gestaltet. Man fühlt sich wohl. Der Biergarten ist ebenfalls schön. Auch das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant ist sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Matratze ist sehr weich und durchgehend, so dass sich jede Bewegung über die gesamte Matratze überträgt. Eine ruhige Nacht ist somit leider fast unmöglich. Auch die Kopfkissen sind sehr weich.

In die Jahre gekommenes, aber sauberes Hotel.
Pros:

Es war sauber, die Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

Cons:

Es war sehr teuer. Wir haben (aus einer Not heraus) spontan ein Apartment für fünf Leute gebucht. Vorgefunden haben wir eines mit einem einzigen Doppelbett. Nach kurzer Zeit kam eine nette Mitarbeiterin und erklärte auf Englisch, dass es ein Missverständnis gegeben haben müsse, das eigentlich gebuchte Apartment könne man uns nicht fertigmachen. Sie hat mit mir zusammen dann eine Gästematratze aus einer Kammer geholt und bezogen. So ging es für eine Nacht. Im Prinzip alles kein Drama, es war dafür halt nur viiiiel zu teuer.
Das Frühstück war okay und der Raum schön, der Kinderstuhl war leider sehr locker zusammengeschraubt und ist fast auseinandergefallen.

It was a very spacious split level apartment with 2 separate bedrooms (on different floors), a large living room, hallway with a desk, bathroom and a kitchen.

Cons:

It was a split level apartment. We asked to have the kids on the same floor as us in the livingroom. They somehow did not have bedsheets for the sofa.

Exceptional
Pros:

Friendly welcoming staff, huge and beautiful apartment. It was only a stop-over on a long car journey, but we were sorry to only be there 1 night!. Short diversion off the motorway and there you are in a sweet and peaceful village. Delicious and plentiful buffet breakfast. Thank you.

Pros:

At first I was scared that my room was very cold, but the hotel manager politely assured me that the room would be warm in 10 min. He also suggested a nice restaurant and called them to expect us (me and my dog). The bed was one of the best I slept. Amazing breakfast and very polite staff.

Cons:

It was allowed to smoke in the hotel corridors. The bathroom is very tiny.

Pros:

Nice, spacious apartment. Good buffet breakfast in the restaurant below. Comfortable beds and quiet surroundings.

Cons:

Steep stairs to the apartment so not so practical with small children. Under sofas and beds were not cleaned for a while. We asked for crib but it was not done when we arrived.
